Sweet as can be, Rusko is a mobile party machine on four legs. Unfamiliar with the concept of being shy, this baby bean loves being one of the first to greet new dogs when they come to play. When he’s not busy zooming around the yard with his little brother and pack of friends, Rusko can be found cozying up to staff for some much deserved love and b***y scratches. Always willing to lend an ear and helping paw, this angel with fur is one of our more popular daycare pups (and for good reason!)

He’s our “Golden Boy” (and not just because of his breed). One of our most dedicated daycare dogs, Chief knows the daycare drill and is always prepped to play! Chief is also one of our best referees, always ensuring that everyone is playing respectfully. He runs his yard like a… well a Chief! When he’s not doing his rounds, Chief can be found snuggling up with one of the yard attendants or rubbing his head on his favorite rock. The handsomest man in the block, it’s always a golden day when Chief comes to play.

ROO😇 This gentle giant of a lady is convinced she’s a small baby bean trapped in a big dog’s body. We have yet to work up the courage to correct her assumption, especially since she fits all the criteria for a tiny lap dog (other than size). After all, Roo is an expert at snuggling with staff, leaning against staff, sitting in the staff’s lap to the best of her ability, and listening to the staff pour their hearts out to her and her majestic ears. What more could we ask for in a lap dog?

Through joyful new puppy visits, difficult goodbyes, and everything in between, she has provided compassionate care, trusted guidance, and unwavering kindness to countless families.

An absolute delight to have in group, this handsome fella is one of the sweetest pups around. We have yet to see him have a bad day and Murphy often functions as our resident cheerleader, making sure everyone has a sufficient amount of pep in their step. Popular among the ladies and without a shy bone in his body, this adorable lad is always in high demand among the daycare pups. And to be honest, among the staff as well. For over 20 years, Karen has been our beloved hospital manager here at Boyd Lake. Throughout the years, she’s kept the hospital running like a well-oiled machine, and while we’ll miss her greatly we’re excited for her latest adventure: much deserved retirement. Come help us celebrate her this Friday, 5/22 from 12 to 1pm as we send her off in style! Refreshments and appetizers will be provided for any clients who wish to bid our amazing Karen adieu.
