For our clients who plan to travel with their pets, please be aware that many travel bans have been placed internationally due to New World Screwworm. It is important to check with the governing entity of the country of destination for the latest travel advisories before scheduling your appointment for a health certificate.

The good news is there are medications, such as Nexgard, Nexgard Plus, Simparica Trio, and Bravecto, that can help prevent screwworm.

This week’s Monday success story is very near and dear to us.

One of our manager’s, Kerri, had an emergency late one night a few weeks ago with her brand new foal. She acted quickly by loading him up in the back of her car, calling Dr. Dwyer and Dr. Ashley, and texting our work group chat.

It was all hands on deck from our techs and assistants Becky, Victoria, Olivia, Madison, and Kailyn who rushed up here to help.

Flame has now made a full recovery and is living up to his name!
