Rise at Summerfest!

Although we are late posting, it sure doesn’t change the fact that the RISE Crew had an awesome show and we are so proud of them.

Thank you to all the parents, spouses and friends who pitched in to make this weekend away work!

Thank you to our farrier, Clint Clymer, our PEMF guru Beth, and our awesome vets who help our horses feel their best! Also a big thanks to Ryan for his awesome media and video of the team!

We are grateful for the opportunity to pursue what we love and thank the Lord for it!

Novice Youth:
Champion: Sofia’s perseverance and devotion to showing is paying off! They marked some of their best scores yet! Her and Yahtzee (Edna Nitro) WON another buckle in the Novice Youth Division !

Youth:
Hot dang, although the class was not huge the top competitors were TOUGH! It was a battle that we are proud to say our RISE CREW came through on top. They rode their hearts out. They were brave and focused! It was so fun to be a part of!

This pair is building- the foundation is getting more solid, the maneuvers are getting crisper and their partnership is strengthening! It’s a pleasure to be a part of!

Diana and the Open Horses:

Open:
Champion: Gunna Rise Withya aka Nash had a solid showing in all four events, and came out on top in the open.

Open Junior:
Third Place: Thirtyfour and Rising aka Xena came out to play in all four evens for the first time. She worked through some ‘spicy’ moments 😂 and showed some exciting promise.

I cannot sing the praises of Charles from Line Camp Equine & Pet Services, LLC enough.

He brought my favorite saddle back to life.

This was the first quality saddle I had ever invested in, and is the reason the whole RISE Performance Horses horse barn rides in Bobs Custom Saddles.

After years of colts, training rides, shows, weather and use… it was in sad shape. Charles took it and replaced the sad, worn leather parts that were barely hanging on, and cleaned in in a way that made it so pretty I didn’t even recognize it. It was deep cleaned, shined and repaired.

I couldn’t be happier to have my ‘old friend’ back, now we can do another few decades of horse stuff together! 😉

The Rise Crew had another great building show in Cheyenne this past weekend.

There were personal wins on every front.

Thank you to all the amazing people who support the riders, and our team, we appreciate you so much. We couldn’t do it without the parents, spouses, friends and professionals who keep our horses feeling their best!
