PC Tuff Hobo is an 16 year old mare called Ruby. The original plan was to keep her as a broodmare and the girls side horse. Cody said I’m only allowed one broodmare so we have decided to put her up for new pasture.

She has done it all. From roping to picking up broncs. She can sit for months at a time and pickup back up where you left off. She may get little sassy, typical mare stuff. Kallie and I have been riding her off and on at the feedyard and in the calving lot pairing out. She’s really cowy and loves chasing a cow. She would make a good high school rodeo horse or a breakaway horse.

Sherman County Ranch Rodeo highlights!We always love the long trip across the road 😉Kallie and Bunny always make a great team presenting our flag! 🇺🇸The Old Man and Bunny came out of ranch rodeo retirement for our county fair! Cody, Clayton, Trenton and Jaxon got 1st winning some new breast collars made by Erika’s Tack Shack!

If you happen to drive by and see a blue horse chasing our other horses, don’t worry it’s just Haze, she found a new hobby with her new fly gear on. 🤣

Also we are placing bets on how long the fly sheet stays intact 💰

The “Good Black Mare”, the one who started it all, Haze, has officially hit retirement. She’s done more for us than we could even imagine. Our girls learned to ride on her. We have all learned so much on her back and on the ground with her. She’s carried us through the Sandhills, a few feedlots, a lot of ranch rodeos, been a pickup horse and even a few barrel races. If any horse deserves retirement it’s this girl. We are thankful we get to watch you in the pasture for as long as we can.
