‼️ We Need Foster Homes ‼️

Three tiny kittens were just dropped off at the J-Town Fire Station, down the street from our clinic. These little ones are about 6 weeks old—two calico girls and one white-and-black boy—and they are now looking for foster homes where they can grow, play, and get lots of love while they wait for their forever families.

And a special thank-you to our local firefighters, who stepped up to help these babies when they were left at the station — especially over Labor Day weekend. We’re incredibly grateful for the care and compassion they showed these little ones when they needed someone to step in.

If you’re able to foster one (or more!) of these kittens, please send us a message. As always, our Hopewell community has come through for so many animals in need, and we’re hoping you’ll help us find these babies a safe place to land.

Just a reminder that we’ll be closed tomorrow, September 5th through Monday, September 7th for Labor Day weekend. We’ll reopen with our normal hours on Tuesday, September 8th.

Our staff has been working hard this week to make sure everyone gets their medications refilled before the long weekend. If you still need a refill, please reach out to us as soon as possible!

Our bouquets are restocked for the final week of our flower fundraiser!

This is your last chance of the season to grab one of our gorgeous, homegrown, fresh bouquets while supporting the Hopewell Rescue Fund. Bouquets are available for a minimum donation of $15, with 100% of proceeds going toward helping animals in need.

We have been absolutely blown away by the response to this fundraiser and cannot thank our clients and community enough for supporting it all summer long.

Last Saturday, 9-year-old Zoe held her very first lemonade and snack stand and donated 100% of her proceeds to the Hopewell Rescue Fund. In just a few hours, she raised an incredible $241!
We are completely blown away by Zoe’s initiative, generosity, and big heart. The Hopewell Rescue Fund helps local pets receive medical care they may otherwise never have access to, including stray and abandoned animals and pets whose families may not be able to afford the care they need.

Thank you, Zoe, for reminding us that you are never too young to make a difference. We are so grateful that you chose to help the animals in our community!

Happy Birthday to Dr. Brown!

Today we’re celebrating the heart and soul of Hopewell Animal Hospital! For more than 11 years, Dr. Brown has poured her heart into building Hopewell into the clinic it is today, creating a place where patients are cared for with compassion, our team feels like family, and every person who walks through our doors knows they matter.

We’re incredibly grateful for the vision, hard work, dedication, and love she has given to this clinic and to all of us who get to be part of it. We wouldn’t be Hopewell without her. Happy Birthday, Dr. Brown! We hope you feel extra celebrated today—you deserve it!

Labor Day weekend is almost here! We will be closed next Saturday, September 5th through Monday, September 7 to enjoy the long weekend with our families. We will be open normal business hours on Friday, September 4th, and then again on Tuesday, September 8th.

If your pet needs medications or anything else before the holiday, please give us a call ahead of time so we can get you taken care of before we close!

Our flower fundraiser has been restocked! Every bouquet purchased contributes to our Hopewell Rescue Fund and helps us provide the care these rescue pets need to get their fresh start.

This week, your flower purchases will help cover Polly’s upcoming surgery to spay her and repair her missing eye, as well as her first round of kitten vaccines. Stop by the clinic to grab a bouquet and help us help Polly!

UPDATE: We have found a foster home for Polly. We will keep everyone updated on her journey until she is ready for her forever home!

Meet Polly!

Polyphemus, Polly for short, is the newest member of the Hopewell Rescue Fund! She was found hanging out by a dumpster on Thursday and was brought to us by a friend of the clinic. Polly is missing her left eye, which inspired her very fitting name, but that certainly hasn’t slowed her down.

She is an incredibly sweet and affectionate torti who spent most of her first day here meowing until someone picked her up. Needless to say, she has already figured out how to win over the staff.

The Hopewell Rescue Fund will cover Polly’s veterinary care until she is old enough to find her forever home. For now, she’s hanging out at the clinic, but we’re hoping to find a foster home where she can get some one-on-one attention and settle in somewhere cozy.

Happy Birthday to Hannah!

Hannah spends a lot of her days behind the scenes, making sure our surgery patients are in good hands from start to finish. Whether she’s getting everything ready before a procedure, assisting the doctor during surgery, or keeping a close eye on a patient under anesthesia, she’s a vital part of our surgery team. We hope you have the best birthday, Hannah!
