🎡 The Kentucky State Fair kicks off August 20 : and if you're planning to spend a day (or three!) at the Expo Center, your pet needs a plan too.

We're just 8 minutes from the Kentucky Fair & Expo Center, which means we're the closest Fear Free certified pet sitter for fair-goers. Whether you need a quick drop-in to walk the dog between fair days, an overnight stay so your pup doesn't have to be alone, or someone to check on your cat or exotic pet while you enjoy the rides : we've got you covered.

But here's the thing: our cage-free boarding space is limited, and September is going to be even busier (Louder Than Life, Bourbon & Beyond, Churchill Downs racing... more on that soon).

📅 Book now for State Fair week before spots fill up → https://www.timetopet.com/portal/ravensk9to5/create-account

Does your house suddenly feel a lot quieter now that the kids are heading back to school? While our human schedules get busy again, our furry family members often feel the shift from constant summer companionship to unexpected alone time. 🐾 Transitioning back to a regular routine can sometimes trigger separation anxiety for pets. Keep an eye out for signs like pacing, excessive vocalization, or changes in bathroom habits. Here are a few Fear Free tips to ease the transition: • Practice short absences by stepping away for just a few minutes at a time. • Keep departures and arrivals low-key to reduce excitement and stress. • Provide safe enrichment toys or puzzle feeders to keep their minds engaged. Need help bridging the gap during long work or school days? Raven’s K9 to 5 is here to help! Our reliable midday dog walking and drop-in visits give your pets the potty breaks, playtime, and love they need while you are away. 💛 Ready to give your pet a stress-free school year?
