Happy Earth Day 🌎
Today is a reminder that the small choices we make every day add up. At Winnie Lou, that means being intentional about what goes into every bag. Sustainability is built into every decision we make, from sourcing to formulation to how we think about food as a whole.
We believe in using more of what’s already available, not wasting it. That’s why we prioritize nutrient-rich organ meats like heart, liver, and trachea. These cuts are incredibly beneficial for dogs and help reduce waste by honoring more of the animal. It’s a more thoughtful, responsible way to create food.
We also focus on sourcing close to home. Our bison is responsibly raised and locally sourced, supporting Colorado farmers while reducing the environmental impact of long-distance supply chains. It’s about staying connected to where our ingredients come from and the people behind them.
Taking care of our dogs and taking care of the planet can go hand in hand 💚
