Iroquois Animal Clinic has been a part of the pet community for generations, caring for the pets who mean so much to the families who love them. While our veterinarians often receive recognition, today we want to shine a light on the incredible veterinary technicians who stand beside them every single day.

Our vet techs are the hands that comfort, the hearts that nurture, and the steady presence that helps our patients feel safe during some of their most vulnerable moments. They assist, advocate, educate, protect, and heal. They are an extension of our doctors and an essential part of every treatment, every procedure, and every little victory that makes what we do so meaningful.

Without our veterinary technicians, our mission would not be possible. Their knowledge, dedication, compassion, and countless behind-the-scenes efforts make a difference in ways that are sometimes unseen but never unimportant.

Hello, Pet Community!

As we continue looking for ways to better serve our pet community, we’re exploring new ways to make protecting your pets easier, more convenient, and less demanding especially when it comes to year-round prevention. Our pets depend on us to help protect them from things we may not always see coming. That’s why we’re looking into an opportunity that could help make year-round protection against heart worms, fleas, ticks , and intestinal parasites a little easier to manage.

Imagine having one less thing to remember while still helping provide your fur baby with the protection they need throughout the year. Would having a more convenient way to stay on top of your pet’s prevention be helpful for you?

We know life can pull us in a hundred different directions. Between work, family, appointments, activities, and everything in between, it can be easy for that monthly reminder to give your pet their prevention to slip through the cracks. More importantly, it may be helpful for pets who are difficult to medicate or who have experienced irritation associated with topical products. Although every pet is different, your veterinarian can help determine what option is appropriate.

For our stubborn little ones who somehow know exactly when the medication comes out…we see you! Our goal is simple: make keeping your pet protected easier for you and more comfortable for them.

We’d love to share more about this opportunity and how it could help make prevention one less thing for you to worry about. Protecting your pets shouldn’t feel like another chore it should feel like part of loving them. If interested in learning more, let us know!

Happy Tuesday, Pet Community!

We wanted to let you know that we will be undergoing some construction and facility improvements beginning Friday, August 7th.

To allow the team to complete this work safely and efficiently, our hospital will be closed on Saturday, August 8th. We will reopen on Monday with our normal business hours, ready to continue caring for your pets.

If your pet is currently scheduled for this Friday, a member of our team will be reaching out with any necessary instructions or updates regarding your appointment.

We sincerely apologize for the inconvenience of not being open this Saturday and greatly appreciate your patience and understanding. Every improvement we make is with you and your pets in mind. Veterinary care includes many different services to support your pet’s health, and surgery is one of them. In some cases, it may be elective, while in others it is necessary and life saving. We understand that the idea of surgery can bring about feelings of worry, uncertainty, or fear for many pet owners. You may be reflecting on past personal or someone elses experience. Whether positive or challenging, those emotions are completely valid and never overlooked.

Although surgery requires both technical skill and thoughtful care, some veterinarians are naturally gifted in this area. Dr. Duncan is among them. Happy Tuesday pet community. Iroquois Animal Clinic will be closed in honor of the upcoming holiday, Friday June19th. If there are any prescriptions that you are in need of, please give us a call to make arrangements. In addition, July 4th is around the corner. If you know your furbaby is anxious around fireworks, let’s get them set up for success by providing them with something that will keep them calm and you pet parents less worried.
