🎃🐾 We had a HOWLING good time at our Group Follow-Up Halloween Party! 👻💜

With 30 dogs and their humans joining in on the fun, it was a spooktacular day full of learning, laughter, and a little Halloween mischief! From practicing obedience around distractions to playing Pin the Eyeball on the Monster 👁️, going on a scavenger hunt 🔎, and showing off some amazing costumes in our costume contest 🎭, we had a little bit of everything!

One of our favorite parts of what we do is bringing our training families together to keep practicing their skills, build confidence, and strengthen the bond between dogs and their people. Group follow-ups are about more than just training — they’re about continuing the journey together, celebrating progress, and having FUN along the way!

A huge thank-you to everyone who came out and made this event such a success! We loved seeing all your spooky pups and spending the morning with our amazing community. 🧡🐶

🐶🐾 WHY DOES YOUR DOG PUT THEIR PAW ON YOU? 💜

You’re sitting on the couch, minding your own business… and suddenly a little paw lands right on your arm. 😂🐾

But what does it mean?

Sometimes that paw is your dog’s way of saying “Hey, pay attention to me!” 👀 They may be asking for pets, affection, playtime, or simply trying to get your attention.

Other times, it can be a sign that your pup is looking for comfort, reassurance, or connection. 🥰

And, of course, dogs are excellent at learning what gets a reaction from us. If putting a paw on you results in scratches, cuddles, or attention, they may have decided, “Yep… this works!” 😂💜

As always, look at the rest of your dog’s body language to understand what they’re communicating.
