The City of Louisburg is in a Stage 3 water emergency, and all non-essential water use by city water customers is prohibited.
During this water emergency, water customers are prohibited from:
a) Watering lawns, gardens, trees, shrubs, plants or wash vehicles, boats or trailer washing or washing of structure exteriors;
b) Industrial uses of water, including but not limited to car wash operations and packing plant operations;
d) Business/commercial uses;
d) Home uses other than those set forth in subsection (a).
The City’s bulk water station will be closed.
The City Council at its meeting Monday, May 4 passed a resolution adopting the Stage 3 Water Emergency due to an equipment failure at the Marias des Cygne Water Treatment Plant located on the Marias des Cygne River located southwest of the community.
The resolution is due to a temporary shortage of the water supply. The resolution will remain in effect until the Governing Body lifts the water emergency.
Customers are directed to conserve water usage to prevent running out of water.

TODAY IS THE HOUND LOUNGE’S GOLDEN BIRTHDAY💛 I cannot begin to describe the feelings I have today. The support I have had over the last few years has been nothing but magical honestly. I was awarded with Best of Miami County Pet Groomer (Silver) and Pet Supply Store (Bronze). The best of all is in this new year we are expanding and building our own facility🤯 I will never be able to say THANK YOU enough to my clients, my staff, and most importantly my family. You guys are my whole world and truthfully I am beyond grateful to be in this community with such love and support! Thank you for making these years a dream! My younger self would not believe this is where I am at and I could not make this happen without YOU! Cheers to many more years and wagging tails to come through the doors! Thank you⭐️💛
