🐾 Let’s welcome Debbie to River Bank K9! 🖤🤍

Debbie is a beautiful black and white Boxer joining us for our 21-Day Stay & Train program!

Over the next three weeks, we’ll be working on leash manners, basic obedience, and building better habits on walks. One of our main goals will be addressing her leash reactivity around other dogs and helping her learn to stay focused and responsive to her handler, even when distractions are present.

We’re excited to get to work with Debbie and help her build the skills she needs to be successful in everyday life👏🏼

We hear so many heart breaking stories…the horror stories that “humans” do or neglect to do for animals BUT I’m on here to share a wonderful developing story about a dog I currently have here at my facility named Oliver aka Ollie. We don’t know where he came from, but he showed up on my clients front porch. With the loving heart she has for animals, she couldn’t turn him away being underweight and no one to claim him. Out of her own family‘s money she took the dog to the vet. She got all his vaccines the vet exam, had him neutered and she kept him in a safe place until she could find a trainer and a facility she trusted. Ollie is bringing his 30 days basic obedience training so he could be all he could be for his future home that we are looking for! Ollie is approximately two years old male and as happy as can be! Is he just a happy dog by breed or does Ollie understand the 2nd Chance he was given by a Good Samaritan? We will never know the answer to that question but the bottom line is he is one wonderful dog and will make a great family dog. Great with people great with dogs haven’t seen any food aggression. He is just an all-around great guy. If you would like to meet him, please text 919-369-8970 to set up an appointment. Mike found his forever home with his new owner, Bill! 🏡💙 We couldn’t be happier for this sweet boy as he starts his next chapter!

I don’t understand how this cool dude hasn’t found his new family. He was a stray that found his way to my facility and his COMPLETELY ready to be adopted. 💙🐾 he’s vetted, clean and doesn’t shed, he’s so fun, easy to care for, happy and healthy!! 🐾 Charlie has wrapped up his 30-Day Stay & Train with us! 🐾

One of our favorite things about our Stay & Train programs is that every program is tailored to the individual needs of the dog and their owner. There’s no one-size-fits-all approach!

Charlie came to us needing to work on leash manners, everyday obedience, and learning how to better understand and respond to his owner’s individual needs. He has made PHENOMENAL progress throughout his stay! ❤️

We are so excited for him and his owner to continue putting all of his new skills to work!
