😭😭😭 I have a VERY urgent situation...

Grace was found as a stray, emaciated and neglected in Southern California. Beautiful citizens have taken her under their wing, spending their own money to rehabilitate her and nurse her back to health. Despite her scars, wounds, and obvious lack of food, she's the sweetest and most loving girl. She's currently fostered in Westchester (LA area), but can be transported.

Her current foster has paid for all of her vet bills, with no rescue backing. She's contacted several rescues and has one that *might* take her, if we can secure a foster. Unfortunately, the current foster has several dogs and will need to find her a new foster or adopter by Monday, May 25th. If no one steps up, she will have to be surrendered to a shelter - which means immediate death.

Info about her:
- Vet thinks she's about 7-10 years old
- Unsure about cat/dog friendliness, as she needs time to decompress and heal from her illnesses
- Spayed
- She was suffering from pyometra, severe anemia, emaciation, and eye infections when found. Since being rescued, she had pyometra surgery, a blood transfusion, bloodwork, and all medications and treatments for eye infections. This has all been paid out of pocket by her current foster.

I'm unable to foster for a few weeks, so I'm hoping someone will have it in their heart to foster her - or better yet, adopt her!! If you can help, please message me ASAP.

Peach is in urgent need of a new foster or better yet, a furever home! She’s currently fostered under , but current foster has her living in a garage and that’s not at all ideal with Summer heat.

About Peach…

Well, Peach is a PEACH! She gets along with everyone. This lab/terrier mix was saved from the euthanasia list, weighs 60 lbs and is 1 year old. She likes to hang out with people more than any other dog. She can take or leave cats. She is great off leash and listens when she is called. Peach is always ready to jump in the car and go wherever you go. She’s crate trained too! Pretty sure she’s a dream dog…

Are you interested in fostering or adopting Peach? Fill out an application on https://loveallanimals.org/! I’m happy to transport Peach to you. 🐾

Let’s get her out of a HOT garage and into a HOME!

This beautiful Shar Pei mix needs a new home ASAP.

To say this girl has been through the wringer is an understatement. Back in January, she was pulled from the euthanasia list at Kern County Animal Services at the very last minute. She was adopted, but didn’t have a proper introduction to the owner’s cat, which resulted in her being rehomed. More chaos ensued (zero fault of her own), but she’s currently in her third home in four months. Her current situation is a temporary foster, and she needs to find a new home ASAP.

Name: Sadie, spayed female, chipped
Age: 2 years old
Weight: ~50 lbs.
Breed: Shar Pei mix
Energy: Likes to go on walks, play with toys (but can get too enthusiastic) - overall low energy level. Has a great jump, but wouldn’t recommend she play basketball, haha.
Cat/Dog Friendliness: Needs to be in a home with no cats and slow introductions with dogs.
Kids: Slow introductions with kids would be great (just like with any dog)
Health: UTD on vaccinations, but does have skin issues (common issue with Shar Peis) and foot yeast. She’s an itchy girl, but is currently on Hill’s Science Diet Sensitive Stomach and Skin food.

She’s currently in Northern San Luis Obispo County. Transportation can be arranged anywhere! $50 rehoming fee.

Dahlia has been at San Luis Obispo County Division of Animal Services for one year today! That’s 1/3 of her young life! We can’t let her spend any more time in a kennel.

Dahlia is listed as a pitbull mix, 3 years old, and a happy girl. She’s fairly active, likes going on walks, and LOVES playing with a ball. As you can see, she is a big fan of rolling in the grass, will run in the rain (or shine), and loves a good belly rub. Her smile is never wiped off her face and she’s always happy to see a friend.

Dahlia is not dog reactive, but would probably do best as the only dog in a home.

Ready for your new best friend who will love you unconditionally?

Visit Animal Services (next to Woods) and meet Dahlia! Call 805-781-4400 to make an appointment or drop by during public visiting hours, Monday through Saturday from 12-5 (extended to 7pm on Wednesdays). If you want to adopt her, I will cover HALF of her fees!

My two favorite words to say to a shelter dog: ā€œYou’re safeā€.

It truly takes a village to save a shelter dog and I’m so proud to be part of this one. Peak beat the euthanasia list several times, but was on his last chance. He was about to lose his life if no one stepped up.

Whenever I see a KCAS dog (especially a euth list dog) posted on social media, I always offer to transport to help save their life. After weeks of dodging being PTS, Peak FINALLY had adoption interest, in SLO County, of all places!

When I picked him up from Kern County Animal Services tonight, Peak KNEW he was safe. He hugged my leg when we got to my car and begged for pets for the entire 2.5 hour drive home.

He’s now living his best life in a beach town and his new family loves him…and vice versa.

Thank you to Maegan For The Dogs for advocating and fighting for this sweet boy, Julie for stepping up to adopt Peak and save his life, and to Pam PC for supporting this adoption and transport! We saved a dog today and I’m so proud. 🄹

Thank you for stopping by to say hello, Fiona Thomas and SpinRunDogs! šŸ’™

Courtesy Post:

It is impossible not to fall in love with 3 yo German Shepherd, Buddy, if you are a dog lover. He is beautiful and well-behaved, true credit to his breed.

Since he was 9 months old, he lived with a single old-ish man (now 71), who didn’t want Buddy and never has bonded with him. The owner was very responsible and dutifully walked, fed, took him to vet, disciplined him, but there was no love. And yet somehow Buddy has grown up into a loving, gentle (all 90 lbs of him) and respectful dog. He never had chance to make dog friends, but when he was introduced to one, he was playful, mind space requests and was a perfect gentleman.

He never met cats or kids up close, but from the distance he is quite friendly.

He is neutered and microchipped.

He will be a great hiking companion and jogging buddy or sports dog, but he is also quite fond of being a part-time coach potato.

He comes with (a huge) crate, beds, vet/vaccinations records and free training for life. Rehoming fee of $100.

Located in San Luis Obispo, CA.

Any questions - ask Irina at 310-488-4860 or [email protected].

Let’s find him a perfect home! šŸ™

I can not believe I’m posting this AGAIN.

- Sarah was rescued from the euthanasia list at Kern County Animal Services (at the very last minute) and brought to Arroyo Grande.
- Sarah chased the owner’s cat, so she was put up for adoption.
- Sarah’s adopter worked on ā€œtrainingā€ for a few days.
- Sarah’s adopter rehomed her to a new family, whose senior dog didn’t like having a younger dog in the house. They dropped her off as a ā€œstrayā€ at Santa Barbara Animal Services, which she clearly was not.
- Sarah’s first adopter picked her up, then decided a week later she wants to surrender her, due to Sarah jumping on her.

Now we are back at square one. Please keep Sarah out of the shelter once and for all.

🐾 Spayed, vaxxed, and chipped
🐾 2 years old, about 35-40 lbs
🐾 Dog friendly, but needs cat free home or slow introduction
🐾 VERY cuddly and sweet
🐾 Located in Arroyo Grande, CA
🐾 Transportation is available
🐾 $25 rehoming fee

Sarah is about to be turned into the shelter, if we can not find her a home ASAP.

Nothing like a turn-around trip from Los Osos, CA to Eugene, OR to transport a euthanasia list dog to her furever family! 🐾

Full story about Lucy coming tomorrow, after I get some much-needed sleep! 😓

01/04/2026

After a chaotic and heartbreaking failed adoption (and transport to SLO County) on Friday, I posted an SOS call on social media, for a euthanasia listed dog at Kern County Animal Services. Within an hour, several interested parties expressed interest in adoption and fostering Sarah.

One person (Anaya) stood out and wanted to adopt her immediately. We exchanged messages, coordinated adoption paperwork, and I made a plan to drive out to Kern County Animal Services the following morning. Special thanks to Lisa for footing my gas bill!!

SpinRunDogs advocated for Sarah’s life and was an incredible asset to make sure she left the building - for good. We walked out of KCAS this morning and headed to her forever family’s home in Arroyo Grande (SLO County). She is settling in so well and her new family is loving her (and vice versa).

Thank you to everyone who shared my posts, commented, offered to help, and made pledges. Please remember, adopt - don’t shop! Hundreds of shelter dogs are euthanized on a daily basis!

Rescue is one of the hardest things I’ve ever done.

Sarah was about to be PTS (euthanized) this week a Kern County Animal Services. A gal in SLO County stepped up to adopt her and save her life, so volunteer transport was arranged and several people were lined up to coordinate the adoption.

The shelter emailed over the adoption paperwork and the adopter claimed to be filling it out, then blocked me out of nowhete. 🚩 She ghosted everyone at the VERY last minute and wasted so many people’s time and energy. Now Sarah is in immediate danger because of an irresponsible ā€œadopterā€.

If you can adopt her, I will drive out there and save her tomorrow. Please, please, please don’t let her die.
