What dry food is everyone feeding their border collie? My dog has been itching and chewing her paws, her coat seems dry also. We took her off of anything chicken and they helped alot but shes still itchy. I picked up the Purina pro plan sensitive skin and stomach blend and have been adding some fish oil in the past couple days. She seems to like it but I want to know if there's better options out there in your experience. Our budget doesnt allow us to do fresh meals so mainly just looking for dry food recommendations. Also if you have recommendations for allergy relief, that would be helpful too. We have her on the VetIQ chews which help but like I said, want to know if theres something better. Thank you

Do you (ever) regret getting your BC?
Can you share your hardest periods with your border collie and how did you overcome it? i am just interested because some days are hard especially now when i am tired from worl,there is always dark outside,Kodas reactivity is very active these days etc…😃😃 but i never regret getting him… look at him my baby ❤️ he is my everything love him !

Okay friends… we need to talk about an awkward dog park habit 😅🐶
One of our community pups — a sweet, well-trained 6-month-old Border Collie — is doing amazing in most areas. Lots of training, exercise, structure, and love… total good boy energy 💙
But he’s recently developed a very embarrassing behavior at the dog park. Before happily playing with smaller dogs, he sometimes lifts his leg and pees on them. Yes… actually on them. 🤦🏽‍♀️ The owners are always apologized to, but it’s still super awkward.
We’ve heard this can be marking behavior and may improve after neutering, but the vet has advised waiting until 10–12 months of age.
So we’re turning to the experienced dog people here:
Has anyone dealt with this before? Any training tips or management strategies to help stop this behavior in the meantime?
We appreciate any advice you can share — and promise he really is a lovely dog aside from this unfortunate party trick 😬🐾

Our boy is an absolute chicken ball. Has anyone had any luck with brown noise machines attached to a leash or collar to help drown out sound canons? They are miles away but he is still refusing to walk or go outside because they are so frequent.
