🦃🐶 Wondering what Thanksgiving foods are safe for your dog? While the holiday table is full of tempting treats, many classic dishes can be dangerous for pets.

Safe for dogs in moderation:
• Plain, boneless, skinless turkey
• Steamed carrots, green beans
• Cooked sweet potato or plain pumpkin puree
• A splash of low-sodium turkey broth

❌ Foods to avoid:
• Stuffing, seasoned turkey, and all bones
• Chocolate, grapes, raisins, and xylitol
• Onions, garlic, nutmeg, and rich desserts

⚠️ Common emergencies: Gastrointestinal issues, pancreatitis, and bone obstructions spike during Thanksgiving. Even small amounts of fatty or sweet foods can make dogs very sick.

💡 Pro tip: Guests may not know what’s safe for your pet—remind them not to feed table scraps. A simple dog-friendly bowl can let your furry friends enjoy the holiday safely.
