I honestly didn't think a ball could keep my dog's attention for more than a few minutes.

For anyone wondering if this thing is actually worth it, here's what happened with my dog, Tom. He's ridiculously energetic and has a pile of toys that he usually gets bored of almost immediately.

The first time I switched this on, it started rolling around making this funny little muffled chatter. Tom just stared at it for a second like, "What is that?" Then he took off after it and didn't want to stop.

Now whenever we bring it into the yard, he's completely focused on it. He'll chase it over and over, and we actually have to make him take a break because he'll just keep going.

The funniest part is he doesn't seem to think it's just another toy. He acts like it's some little creature running away from him, which is probably why he never gets bored of it.

I've bought a lot of toys over the years, and most end up forgotten after a day or two. This one has been the complete opposite. It's probably the best purchase I've made for keeping him entertained and helping burn off all that extra energy.

I'm sure many of you have one of these, but for those who don't, I wanted to share my experience with my very active dog, Max. This ball is the best thing I've ever bought, and I've had three dogs over the years. It makes a weird sound, like someone's muffled talking as it rolls. Max is obsessed with it. We take it out in the yard, and he runs and chases it non-stop. We actually have to stop him so he doesn't get overworked. It's a lifesaver for anyone who has a really hyper, busy dog, and that’s pretty much everyone! I just thought I'd put that out there. Max has a lot of toys and plays with them all, but he gets bored quickly. I think he believes this is another animal he's playing with, and it's not only entertaining to watch, but he also gets the exercise he needs and releases all that pent-up energy. Best toy I've ever bought!
