It’s officially a wrap folks. Yesterday was lights out for the final time as we handed over the keys to the corner and left Main Street with our tails held high. Such a weird feeling, so much more than just closing a location, closing this final chapter of P&P is leaving us with such a bittersweet feeling. The cycle is complete. Today starts the beginning of what’s new and what’s next. Friends, thank you, and until we see you again, be well + give your fur kids an extra squeeze from us.

We will miss you all!

Lover of cats or dogs? We say love all animals equally. The more the merrier! Pets are family. Founders Rob & Janene bipetual preference for a pet lifestyle inclusive of both species living in harmony was always the spark behind the brand... and family was always the foundation for all of it.

Rob was a dog guy. Janene was a cat lady. When we connected as a couple we blended our fur kids with ease in part because we dedicated ourselves to integrating our animals into our home, focusing on comfort, style, and wellness. OG mascots Cosmo, Minxx, and Bailey (now all retired) were our inspiration followed by rescues Frida (R), Nadia, Jaxxon, Mia (R), Enzo, Harlow, Romeo, and Julius.

We researched & learned so much about pet care and advocating through our personal experience with all these animals, so in turn that we’ve enjoyed helping thousands of clients to provide better pet care for their pets.

This special final shout out is to our personal family and friends behind-the-scenes that have been with us on this journey since the start, making it all possible. You believed in our dream and invested in us. You supported our vision and gave us the opportunity to create the P&P that so many have come to love. We couldn’t have done it all without you, leaving an indelible mark on our communities.

So from our family to yours— a very heartfelt thank you to our amazing clients for the outpouring of kind words, appreciation, love + support!

As we close it all out, thinking back on so many years of memories at P***y & Pooch... we have worked with SO many interesting individuals over the years, making good friends and some relationships have become like family.. extending that 💚 from all of us to all of your families in caring for your pets, has indeed been a very emotional part of this business and something we will miss on the daily.

Special shoutout to the whole P&P team (our staff, past and present), who have been as fun-loving, colorful, crazy, caring, supportive, and so diverse and without whom our journey in this business wouldn’t have been everything that it was. One more shindig to close it all out... this Thursday evening B there or B square 6-8pm 🦴🦴🦴

We’re affectionately calling it the ‘Bare Bones Party’ (thx Mark ;) It’s our most basic event, to say goodbye to Main Street and we hope to see some of our most fave humans and fur friends! The store will be stripped naked but the space will be filled with our spirit ✨🌈

We SO appreciate all the outpouring of 💚💚💚 support and well wishes we’ve been receiving from old and and new clients, friends in the neighborhood, and clients from Long Beach and Beverly Hills. It’s made this whole transition process that much easier to experience emotionally.

We 💚 you all with so much appreciation & gratitude. Let’s celebrate our pets, our community, and our history.
