Real dogs. Real families. Real results. đŸŸ
We don’t just train dogs — we become part of your family. From Enzo who boards with us when mom and dad travel, to Yoshi who’s been coming for nearly 10 years, to Lando who started at 3 months old and never stopped learning.

And the thing our clients say most? The training works because it works for the whole family — not just the dog.

That’s exactly how we designed it.
If you’re ready to see what’s possible for you and your pup, we’d love to meet you both.

MSNWhat makes a dog good with kids?

Elisha Stynchula is a certified professional dog trainer and family dog mediator and owner of "I Said Sit!" School for Dogs in Los Angeles. Here’s her advice about what to look for in a family dog:

Quick Take What makes a dog “good with kids” depends on temperament and environment. Training and supervision are essential for safety. Matching energy and lifestyle helps prevent conflict. Teaching children proper behavior reduces risk. The idea of a “kid-friendly” dog is appealing, especia...

Impulse control isn’t about teaching your dog to suppress their instincts — it’s about giving them the skills to make better choices. đŸŸ

When dogs learn to pause before reacting, everything changes:
✅ Calmer greetings (no more jumping!)
✅ Safety
✅ Less reactivity on walks
✅ A dog who can think, even when excited

It’s one of the most powerful foundations you can build — and it makes every other training goal easier to reach.

Your dog goes to daycare every day. But are they actually learning anything?

Most daycares keep dogs busy. We keep them growing.

At I Said Sit!, Educational Daycare isn’t just supervision — it’s a full training program. Individual sessions with a certified trainer. Mini lessons woven throughout the day. Small play groups. Calm rest time. And a weekly private session with YOU so you can reinforce everything at home.

The result? A dog who comes home calmer, better behaved, and genuinely happier.

We’ve been doing this in Los Angeles for 20+ years. And here’s the thing our clients tell us most often after finishing the program: their dog is so settled they don’t even need daycare anymore.

That’s the goal.
