We are in the process of consolidating Pico Boulevard Pet Hospital and Park La Brea Veterinary Care. We are currently seeing patients at the Fairfax 7 days a week except for major holidays. Mon-Fri - 7am - 7pm

We wanted to say Happy Belated Birthday to the amazing pups we rescued last Spring. We couldn't be any happier and grateful for the owners that have given them their amazing homes and made them part of their families. This is Tilda, a sweet cat who was abandoned to us. She is approximately 5 years old, spayed, received vaccines, deworming and a dental cleaning. Tilda loves getting belly rubs and needs a wonderful home where she is the only cat. Please call 323-931-1210 for more information.

Hello, one of our amazing clients found these two pups abandoned in a parking lot and tied up to a fence. He has opened his home to them and is fostering these two beauties for now but unfortunately cannot care for them so he is looking to re-home them. They are believed to be Pit bull mix pups one male (left with Striped face) and one female (right with grey and some white on snout), they are approximately a year old. They are both extremely friendly and cant help but to warm your heart with their amazing energy. Meet Mabel. This pretty girl was lost and one of our clients found her. She is very sweet, affectionate and needs a loving home. Mabel will come snuggle in your lap and loves to be pet. She is approximately 2-3 yrs old, spayed, dewormed, vaccinated, microchipped and treated for fleas. Please contact our Park La Brea location at 323-931-1210 if you are interested in meeting her.

Dr. Beverly Liu was born in Southern China and moved to the San Francisco Bay Area with her family as a teenager. She grew up with a lot of pets, including a pekingese named 'Bobby', two beagle-terrier mixes, and she even raised silk worms in her home! During her childhood in urban China, animal hospitals were almost non-existent, so her mother would teach her how to nurse their pets back to health with limited medicine. She realized at a young age that she wanted to know more about veterinary medicine to help not only her own pets, but other animals as well.

After moving to the United States, Beverly started volunteering with an organization that provided veterinary care to homeless pets, as well as at an animal shelter and she also worked as a veterinary assistant. While attending UC Davis as an undergrad, she was fascinated by animal science so she decided to major in Animal Biology. Her childhood dream was finally fulfilled when she completed her Doctor of Veterinary Medicine degree at Western University of Health Sciences in Pomona, CA. She rotated through multiple teaching hospitals during her clinical years and has since worked at various specialty hospitals in the Los Angeles area. Her favorite veterinary subjects include surgery, internal medicine and pathology. She believes in and practices evidence based medicine while at the same time keeps an open mind about alternative medicine such as acupuncture.

In her free time, Dr. Beverly enjoys hiking, watching Netflix with her kitty named 'Oreo', and exploring different restaurants in the city. She joined the Pico Boulevard/Park La Brea Veterinary team in 2015 and she is very excited to be a part of the family!
