I believe - it is a little unrealistic and a little selfish to make ANY breed a psychiatric service dog - why?

Because some dogs are meant to be hitting the track working hard; biting, clawing, chasing, hunting, and fighting —— while some are more suited to sit still for hours without exercise, and they can still go in an ambulance at the drop of a hat

What do you guys think?
Is it fair and practical to make any dog breed dog any service?
Is it up to the personality of the individual dog?

1. I just really wanted to post a couple pictures of my grandpa

2. His name is Tani, Yoichi and he was born right after the bombs dropped in WWll
3. He was in his band at school. Which started his whole fascination with jazz. It’s his love for jazz that pushed him to immigrate to the United States to try to create. A jazz club sushi bar - Something, my grandpa envisioned as a pseudo nightclub in Hollywood
4. He became a barber before committing to moving to the United States because it was super scary, but his wife, Mistui - really pushed him and motivated him into taking the chance. Which led to him becoming a millionaire from 1989- 2008; I used to eat oranges from the tree in the hut tub beneath it all the time lol
5. He sold the business to my father and his girlfriend in 2010 so that he can focus on my grandma’s aggressive cancer that they kept secret until 2019 when they had to move back to Japan for treatment
6. My grandma has passed away; but my grandpa and I agree; the best way to honor those who have passed; is to live a life full of love and activity - they wouldn’t want us to sit and sulk; ya know?

I miss how they would call me “mijo” and spoke Spanish to me all the time with their super dense Japanese accents - they were proof that love is not taught through language, but through example (something, I applied to puppies and dogs daily)

When working with younger dogs (or timid or scared or anxious or nervy dogs) it’s important to utilize as many positive, and/or natural training opportunities that come our way

There just so happens to be a bunch of predictable daily chances we get to rehearse or practice many behaviors, that many of us miss or ignore
