Animal Rescue Alliance & Farm Sanctuary Saving Lives...One Animal At A Time. Wherever we see an animal in need, we help.

After years of working in animal rescue, in 2011 Kelly Holland founded The Animal Rescue Alliance, a 501 (c)3 no-kill shelter and sanctuary. TARA rescues and finds loving homes for abandoned and abused companion and farmed animals, and offers sanctuary to those who have special needs and can sometimes be more difficult to adopt out. Our animals come from a variety of backgrounds, from homeless strays and ferals to rescues from kill shelters and hoarding situations. Located at Rancho Providencia, a peaceful four-acre ranch in Chatsworth, CA, TARA is a haven for goats, horses, donkeys, parrots and geese, cats and dogs. Farm animal friends at The Animal Rescue Alliance also provides some limited housing and lifetime care for animals through its trust program, "HAPPILY EVER AFTER." For more information on creating a trust to provide for your companion after you've gone call us at 818 718-4800. TARA is currently looking for volunteers to work with horses and our other farm sanctuary friends. We are also seeking financial assistance through direct tax deductible cash donations and material donations of hay, feed and shavings. For more information about any of our programs or to speak with us about how you can get involved call 818 718-4800

MEET ANNIE & SUNNY

Bonded pair need to find their forever home together!

A Message from their Foster:

"Several months ago I rescued a young mama cat ( Annie ) and her four babies from a truck yard when they were just two days old.

We were able to place three of the babies in forever homes, leaving me with Annie and her baby girl, Sunny.

The two of them have bonded so much that I am very reluctant to let the baby go off to a forever home without her. She would be devastated at the loss. They do everything together, and the mama, who was born feral, is finally coming around due to having her kitten to hang with.

Is anyone out there willing to take the mama and her little girl? Sunny is a calico and about 5 months old now. Annie ,the mama is a black and white short-hair and is about 15 months old. Poor thing was just a teenager when she got pregnant. I have four cats myself, otherwise I’d keep both of them! The kitten is very socialized and the mama is getting there. They are not caged anymore – they have free rein of my house and both socialize with my own cats quite well, with very little drama.

Does anyone have room in the home and their heart for this special pair?"

🏡 Could you be their forever home? Please share!
