ICYMI: We’ve been doing our best to get the word out about BunnyLuv’s unexpected move, and the response from our community has been incredible. But in case you haven’t heard, BunnyLuv will be moving very soon.

After many years in our North Hollywood home, we’re getting ready to pack up the bunnies, the hay, the pens, approximately 47 billion cardboard boxes, and begin BunnyLuv’s next chapter. ❤️

Don’t worry, we hopefully aren’t going far! Our mission isn’t changing, and neither is our commitment to the bunnies and community we love.

We’ll be sharing our new location, moving dates, and everything you need to know, especially for those who’d like to help with the moving day itself. Until then, boarding, grooming, adoptions, shopping and all the usual BunnyLuv business continue as normal.

There’s a lot happening behind the scenes, and we’re excited to finally start bringing you along for the ride.

Same mission. Same heart. New home.

We are truly overwhelmed by the incredible outpouring of love, support, donations, messages, shares, and leads we’ve received over the past week. 💙🐰

From the bottom of our hearts, thank you. Seeing our bunny community come together during such a difficult time has reminded us why we do what we do. You all are simply the best.

First, we want to reassure everyone that BunnyLuv is still operating as usual! Grooming appointments, boarding reservations, bonding services, and our day-to-day care for the rabbits continue as normal. If your bunny needs grooming or boarding, please don’t hesitate to reach out and schedule with us!

Behind the scenes, we’ve been touring and researching lots and lots of potential locations, most of them very close to where we are now. Our goal is to stay in the same general area so we’re still easily accessible to our wonderful community.

If you have any leads, please email us at [email protected]. Email is the best way to reach us and keeps everything organized while we search.

We’re looking for a space that is:
🐰 Around 2,000 square feet
🐰 Close to our current location or conveniently located near a major freeway/highway for easy customer access
🐰 A safe place where we can continue rescuing, boarding, grooming, and caring for rabbits

The donations we’ve received so far have already made a huge difference, and we can’t thank you enough. As we prepare for this transition, we’ll continue to need financial support to help cover moving expenses, build out the new space, and keep providing care for the rabbits who depend on us.

And once we have a new location secured... we’re going to need a lot of helping hands! 💪📦 We’ll be looking for volunteers to help us pack, move, and get BunnyLuv settled into its new home. Keep an eye on our social media and our newsletter, as that’s where we’ll post all updates and volunteer opportunities.

Saturday we received heartbreaking news. The building we’ve called home has new owners, and we’ve been informed that BunnyLuv can no longer stay in our current location.

We have very little time to find a new space, and the future of the rabbits in our care depends on it. If we cannot find a new home in time, BunnyLuv’s doors could close forever.

Right now, we’re asking for our community’s help. If you know of a possible location, have any leads, or are able to donate to help us with the inevitable costs of moving, we would be incredibly grateful.

Please share this post far and wide. Every lead, donation, and act of support brings us one step closer to keeping BunnyLuv going for the rabbits who need us most. We can’t do this without you. 💛🐰 ❤️

BunnyLuv’s sweet guinea pig, Tank, needs a little extra help right now. 💙 He’s been dealing with painful dental issues (abcess) and has had to see the veterinarian twice in just four days. Because of the pain, he’s not eating well, and we’re doing everything we can to get him feeling better. We’re working closely with our veterinarian to get him back on the road to recovery.

If you’re able to make a donation toward Tank’s veterinary care, we’d be so grateful. Every contribution helps us continue giving him the care he needs. Thank you for keeping Tank in your thoughts and for supporting BunnyLuv. 🐹

We are so grateful for the orders that have already been arriving! We have a feeling Rusty is pretty grateful too, as he explores all the Amazon boxes of goodies. 🐰📦

🐰✨ PRIME DAY IS HERE & RUSTY IS TOO ✨🐰

Meet Rusty, our newest rescue boy. ❤️
Just 2 weeks ago, Rusty was found outside and brought indoors by a kind person. After rescuing him, they noticed something was wrong: Rusty wasn’t pooping at all, a serious emergency for rabbits, and they were deeply concerned for his health.
They reached out for help, and we immediately welcomed Rusty into our care so we could get him the medical attention he needed. Thankfully, after just a few hours of monitoring and supportive care, Rusty started doing what healthy unneutered bunny boys do best... pooping! 💩
Now this handsome, approximately 1-year-old boy is thriving. He’s curious, charming, full of personality, and we can’t wait to help him find the loving forever home he deserves.

While helping coordinate rescue efforts this past week for the shelter family (mom, dad, and 4 newborns), we’ve also continued moving forward with medical care for the Canyon 6 babies. 💛

We’re happy to share that Shireen recently underwent her spay surgery along with the removal of her severe incisor malocclusion. While she still has a road of recovery ahead of her, she has already been making wonderful progress since returning to BunnyLuv. We also got confirmation that she does have cataracts most likely caused by EC that was transferred to her by her mom.

She’s eating much better, spending more time outside of her hidey box, and slowly becoming more comfortable mingling with her sisters instead of isolating herself, likely after living with the ongoing discomfort of her overgrown teeth and repeated dental trims.

Watching that transformation, from frightened canyon baby to curious, social little bunny, has been incredibly rewarding for everyone caring for her.

With Shireen’s surgery now complete, we continue working toward the remaining surgeries and spay/neuter procedures needed to get the rest of the Canyon 6 healthy and adoption ready.
