💕 Meet Hoppie & Fifie:

These sweet faces are some of the newest additions to BunnyLuv. They came to us on Sunday under very difficult circumstances.

Their family is going through a major transition and now needs to find a new place to live. With so much uncertainty ahead, they were worried that they would no longer be able to provide the stability and care their bunnies deserve. As heartbreaking as it was, they made the incredibly difficult decision to leave them with us so they could be safe and eventually find a new, stable home.

It was a very emotional afternoon. It is never easy watching a family say goodbye to animals they love, especially when circumstances outside of their control have brought them to that moment.

But after the goodbyes are over and the family walks out our door, we stay with the bunnies. We help them settle in, get comfortable, and begin adjusting to everything that has suddenly changed around them.

Our next hope is to find these little ones a foster home soon, where they can experience the comfort of family life again while we work toward finding them a permanent home. 💕

🎉 DENNIS IS SAFE! 🐰❤️

Dennis has officially made his way to BunnyLuv! We’re already in talks about an immediate foster home for him while he awaits his neuter, and then the goal is to get this sweet young bun on his way to his furever home.

A huge THANK YOU to everyone who reposted, shared, tagged, reached out, or helped spread the word. We saw them all. Your shares helped get Dennis the transport he needed to safety and, ultimately, helped us find a foster home for him.

This is exactly what sharing these urgent posts can do. ❤️

Dennis still has a little journey ahead of him, but his future is looking a whole lot brighter.

Please keep sharing and follow along for updates on this healthy, young bun. Somewhere out there, his future adopter is going to see him and realize, “That’s my bunny.” 🐇💚
For now, he’ll be settling in by stretching his legs and enjoying some quiet time in our new exercise area for the buns. It also gives new intakes a calm place to decompress and settle in after coming to us from being left outdoors or from the shelter.

UPDATE: DENNIS IS SAFE AT BUNNYLUV, NOW ON HIS JOURNEY TO FINDING HIS FUREVER HOME!

Dennis is currently at SEACCA and we are still looking for a foster who can help get him pulled TODAY.

He’s a 7-month-old male rabbit with alopecia and eye discharge who needs further veterinary care and a safe place to recover.

⏰ Foster commitment is due to SEACCA by 2 PM TODAY.
🚗 Pickup must happen by 3 PM.

There is no extension.

We’re still unpacking, organizing, and getting BunnyLuv fully settled into our new home… but the need for rabbits in crisis doesn’t take a moving-day break.

Dennis needs a rescue pull ASAP.

His shelter deadline is Tuesday, September 29 at 2 PM, with pickup required by 3 PM.

We know this is an incredibly short turnaround, and we’re sharing him because someone out there may be able to help when we can’t.

🐰💗 Happy International Rabbit Day! 💗🐰

Today, we’re celebrating ALL rabbits: wild and domesticated, big and small, fluffy and sleek, shy and silly, and every bunny in between! 🌎🐇
But most of all, we’re celebrating our beloved rescue bunnies. Without them, there would be no BunnyLuv. And without YOU, our incredible bunny community, we wouldn’t be able to continue giving rabbits the safe, loving, and proper care they deserve. 🥹💕

We recently moved to a new location, and as we settle into our new home, we are truly in need of donations and volunteers. Every donation, every hour volunteered and every helping hand makes a BIG difference in the lives of our rescue bunnies. 🏡🐰
Rabbits are truly the best. They deserve to be understood, cared for properly, and loved by their humans. We’re so grateful to everyone who helps us make that possible. 💗

🛠️ DEMO DAY — FRIDAY, SEPTEMBER 18

We’re officially getting our new home ready for the bunnies, and we need volunteers ASAP! 🐰❤️

Tomorrow we’ll be tearing down walls, removing carpeting to open up the new BunnyLuv space under the guidance of one of our handy volunteers. No experience necessary, just bring yourself and be ready to get a little dusty! 💪

🕙 We’ll start at 10 AM, with volunteers welcome as early as 9 AM to get organized. Can’t make it right at the start? No problem! Demo Crew can sign up for different times throughout the day so we can keep plenty of hands on deck as the work progresses.
