Pet sitting a little Chihuahua just reminds me how much I love Chihuahuas.
💕This little girl is a client’s dog that we have been pet sitting for years, she’s such a sweet, funny, silly, quirky and bossy little thing!
🥰If you’ve never had a Chihuahua you seriously have to get one, you have no idea what you’re missing out on!

I need to say this because I see it all the time 👀

I still see trainers teaching clients to walk dogs on prong collars only, with no backup.
That is not safe.

Yes, some trainers will say, “Use a safety strap” — and I’m glad they’re at least acknowledging that prongs can and do come off. But here’s the part that matters:

If your “backup” clips into a flat collar, it’s not actually a safety.
Dogs can slip flat collars too.

A backup should never be attached to something that can fail just as easily.

That’s why the backup should go to a choke. It’s the simplest, most secure option, and it does exactly what a backup is supposed to do — prevent escape if the prong comes off.

If a collar can slip off, it shouldn’t be your safety.
Period.

Watch the video. This setup matters. 🚨🐕

OK, he’s taking this clubbing thing a bit too far now I think.
This Meredith Marks wannabe needs to simmer down.

When we say “LET’S GO” and the dogs understood the assignment 💃🐕

This is how our dogs roll at See Spot Stay.
Your dog can join the party—sign up for walks!

When I ask him what he did last night and he says, “oh I just went out for pizza with the guys”…and then I see this on his phone. 🤥🚫🍕@ the 🪩🕺🏻

This gives me so much anxiety. 😟

For the kid and for the dog.

People really need to be aware of the position they put their pets in around other people, other dogs and especially around children.

Is your dog fearful of the crate? Use their nose to lead them in, make it a fun, calm, good experience.
