🚨We need your support. With the endless amount of animals in need and no end in sight, we are trying to expand the rescue ranch to give more animals a safe place like Dijon, a frenchie with some mobility issues who loves to play in the mud and some of the 13 piggies we care for. Please go to our website to see the fundraising campaign link.
Any amount helps. We can’t do it without you.
For the map - we marked out the potential locations for the cat houses (pink), doggy barn (blue), horses/farm animals (teal), picnic/lounge area (yellow outline), room for growth (orange outlines) and the cabin (white). It’s just to give you an idea on the possibilities and the size. It’s 28 acres, over 5x the size of our current location.

Cilantro is one of our newest residents. He was rescued by flores78__ Poor bunny was living in a box at a homeless drug encampment. He’s settling in well and enjoying the rescue ranch life.

PLEASE READ FULL POST- Tilly (7yo, 10lb, chihuahua) is available for adoption. Our friends at Hope For Paws heard about her & Freddy’s situation and asked us if we could team up with them to help them find a safe place to land until they find loving forever homes. Thankfully we just had a couple of dogs adopted (details coming soon) so we were able to take them in.
Their previous owner is no longer able to care for himself due to declining health and he didn’t have anyone willing to take either dog.
Our rescue model has always been focused on helping animals NOT end up in the shelter system whenever possible. We rarely get to pull from the shelters because we stay busy and full with abandoned & surrendered animals. Nothing is getting easier, the amount of animals in need keeps growing. When we see “dumped, needs rescue” “euth listed” “foster offer” - we cannot jump. Fosters need to be vetted, there needs to be a backup plan if the foster flakes or is unable to commit to keeping the dog until they are adopted. We need a larger rescue ranch as a safe haven. We don’t put dogs in boarding.
🚨We have a deadline of 1/15/27 to buy the lot. We’re desperately trying to expand - our fundraising efforts are not proving to be successful, it’s a slow trickle. Please help us by donating so we can help more animals. The new space is over 5x the size of our current place and will ultimately make it possible to help many more animals. Help us help them. It’s extremely disheartening. And committed fosters are VERY hard to find. We need a larger rescue ranch as a safe haven.

Little Penny aka Shiny Penny was recently rescued by our partner Hope For Paws She was living tied up to a trailer along with 4 other dogs. She’s learning how to dog, she’s learning that coming in the house is okay, she’s learning that there is never going to be a shortage of food, water, toys and kindness. Louie Shovelhead and I are giving her some undivided attention to help her feel safe. ❤️‍🩹
She is the shyest and smallest of the 5.
10lbs, 1yo, terrier mix, spayed, healthy, good with dogs & cats. Very calm and gentle.

$5 Friday for our feathered friends. Yes, we are always asking for your support but that’s because you are our lifeline. We can’t do any of this without your help. These are 3 of 7 little roosters we recently took in. They do not live in cages, they have a secure area where they sunbathe and explore. They are all locked up at night for their safety. They eat a variety of seed mixes and get leafy greens and fruits. Roosters deserve a happy life and we are happy to provide it for them. We currently have 38. All surrendered, abandoned or pulled from shelters.
Please donate so we can continue our mission to help more animals in need.

Thank you Hen Harbor for grabbing these little guys after they were abandoned at a park in San Jose. They would be dead. Tiny and domesticated- whoever dumped them left them to die. 😔

We’re putting in the work to make this happen! We need your help…please donate to help us secure this 28 acre lot so we can save more animals.

We just need enough people to chip in a little and this can become a safe haven for so many.
The rescue was established in 2010 and has always been about quality not quantity. That will not change. We’ve never been about numbers, we take our animals back if something changes, we don’t cherry pick and look for “highly adoptable” animals, we take whoever is in need of a safe place and then work on finding them the right home.
If you know us, you know we are about substance, not flash & fluff.
Please donate any amount and help us reach the goal. ♥️🐾

Binx fka Luciano was 1 of 3 cats that were dumped in the parking lot of a local off leash dog park in the San Fernando Valley. They were immediately taken to our vet at Sherman Oaks Veterinary Group for exams, f***l, vaccines, combo tests, dentals. Binx immediately got an application and went on a trial. He was the perfect fit!
We can only say okay to situations like Binx and his friends because of the rescue ranch where we can house cats (and MANY others in need). We have an amazing opportunity to expand the ranch so we can help even more animals. Please donate, any amount helps. Don’t underestimate the value of contributing a little. And please share. We need more eyes on the work we do so we can do more.
Thank you for caring.
