🚨🆘2 DAYS TO LIVE! MILO DIES
MONDAY 10/12🆘🚨
OVER 50 DAYS ON KENNEL ISOLATION and now he's scheduled to die. 💔
This is Milo. He's 6 yrs old. He was picked up as a stray in July. Milo is an extremely sweet boy. He loves his belly rubs, has been described as relaxed by staff, and got glowing notes from the groomer during bathtime stating he was well behaved and friendly.
He is a GOOD BOY!! Sadly, like so many of our dogs, Milo caught an upper respiratory infection and has now been in kennel confinement for nearly 2 months without a single opportunity for enrichment or exercise.
Now Milo is 🚨ALERTED & DEADLINED 🚨 for playgroup notes with other dogs that occurred prior to him getting sick. While he started off tolerant his first few outings, he became more selective, particularly with male dogs in that setting. Milo has had conflicts with different male dogs and has not been steerable with correction tools in those moments.
Now he'll die on MONDAY 10/12 anytime after 8AM because of it. He is also RESCUE ONLY.
Milo has had ZERO handling issues with people while at the shelter but now volunteers are restricted from providing even one on one enrichment for him even though his only issues are with dogs in playgroup.
It's just not fair. So now this loving, older gent will know nothing but a concrete kennel for his last days unless a hero steps up to save him. He doesn't have much time left. Milo is available at South Los Angeles Shelter.
