🦊 Canine distemper is a viral infection that can be deadly for dogs, particularly puppies and unvaccinated dogs. The virus can also infect foxes, wolves, coyotes, skunks, and raccoons.

Distemper is spread through aerosolized droplets from an infected animal or contaminated objects. The virus can attack the respiratory, gastrointestinal, and nervous systems, leading to symptoms such as fever, nasal discharge, coughing, lethargy, and vomiting.

Meet Duke, a handsome 7-week-old Mastiff puppy with the sweetest little face and the biggest paws you've ever seen! 🐾
He came in for his very first exam and puppy vaccines, and he was such a sweet boy every step of the way.

Those giant paws are a pretty good clue that Duke is going to grow into one very big dog someday, but for now he's enjoying life as an adorable little puppy. 🤗We can't wait to watch him grow and thrive as he continues his puppy wellness journey!
