Gotta feed the beast!

My 10-11" Female Starry Night cast cichlid, endemic to Madagascar! Freshwater species from rivers and lakes. Since I have a relatively low stock, I feed pretty lightly. Because of this I always have to make sure to give her some of my jumbo size 6mm pellets before bed.

In the wild they are an ambush predator.

I wouldn't want her to make a snack out of one of my smaller fish! (She could but is smart enough to know better 😉), otherwise she is a gentle giant! ゚ ゚viralシ

PSA. Taking orders through the end of this month. Then I need a break for at least 3-4 months.

I did it again. My already screwed up back went out on me. Lifting a 40 lb bucket of food.
Easy for you. Used to be for me too. Not anymore.

Don't do it when you have basically two missing discs (which comes with side orders of a bunch of other crap).

If you have a pending order, I am moving very very slowly today, hopefully better tomorrow, but I will be working as hard as I can to get your order out as soon as possible.

Also, to continue, I HAVE to be able to expand, & move location of where I cook the food...
Which is not possible because I would have to move. It is all very complicated. & Not leaving CA.
DM me if you might have a solution 😅.

Thank you all for your ongoing support 🙏, & I will keep you updated. Back surgery not scheduled yet because they found out I have severe osteopenia,
(So low that it's basically osteoporosis.)
How? I have no clue, but they won't perform a surgery until they get my bone density up.
And then if do you decide to have surgery, I would be out of commission for several months!

Anyway. Sorry for the rant.

I really really love and I am so grateful for having some of the best customers that any business could ever ask for. And that's why I didn't have a website.. personal interaction is better for me. ❤️

Panther is on fire!!! Definitely better ones out there but he is genetically a more pale pink. My food will bring out the best of your fishes potential!

Once in a while I give them a pinch of my fry food as a treat. It's great to give to disrupt any aggression. Just a pinch and your fish will be hunting and pecking for hours! Such a better treat than a frozen cube! I put in a pinch definitely smaller than a cube, & it goes MUCH further!
