♍️ Virgo doggos LOVE having a job to do… they make excellent worker companions. They are receptive to *perfectionism* 👏meaning, they are more than happy to train or work to their owners image of perfection 🙂 They are very duty-oriented and are quick learners.

Have a Virgo pup? Try taking them to volunteer if they are well trained. Otherwise, consider adding in some 1-1 training time 🐶

These pups love staying clean and primped… so be sure to bathe them frequently - especially after a big job! 🛁

DOGGY ICE CREAM! This probiotic filled treat is tasty and nutritious for your pup 🐶 This recipe is SO easy and is supercharged with for healthy probiotics. Here’s the recipe:

1/2 cup of plain Yogurt (sheep or goat is best)
3 TBSP plain Kefir
1/2 TBSP Almond Butter
1/4 cup water
1 tsp turmeric
1 banana

Blend all ingredients and separate into containers or molds. This will depend on your pups desired serving sized based on their weight. For smaller pups, feed in small amounts.

Freeze for 2 hours and let them enjoy!

Let’s talk about the difference in Omega-3 fatty acids... yes, some are better than others 😱

You’ve probably seen pet food brands advertise on that their treats or foods that they are boosted with omega-3s.

But - there is a difference between omegas-3’s from veggies vs. marine life.

That’s why it’s ESSENTIAL to read the ingredients!

Plant-based omega-3 sources, such as Chia seeds, contain ALA.

Marine life, such as fish, krill or phytoplankton, contain omegas-3’s called DHA & EPA. These are crucial for growing and developing dogs, as well as dogs of all ages. These are the sources you want to invest it 🙏

The concept of “omegas-3’s” has been very popular. As it should be. But it’s important that your dog is getting their omegas from marine life to ensure they are getting EPA & DHA.

So...

The next time you see a bag of treats or food that advertises as a great “source of omegas”, make sure you see some type of marine life in the ingredients. 🐠

Looking to change your dog’s food? Read on...👉

The digestive system in dogs is far more sensitive that ours. Which means, when introducing a new diet, it’s best to start slow. ⚠️

Slowly introducing new foods decreases the chances of GI upset. 🥺

This type of mindset should be applied when introducing any type of new food to your dog, because any type of sudden change can cause digestive upset. 🐶

If you’re transitioning to a raw diet, this method can work, but there are other potential transition methods as well. We recommend doing research beforehand!
