This 10-year-old DSH presented on June 5th with a classic linear eosinophilic granuloma on the ventral abdomen. We bolstered flea control, initiated cyclosporine, and prescribed a tapering course of methylprednisolone.

The follow-up on June 27th (right) shows near-complete resolution. šŸ“‰āœØ

A great reminder that eosinophilic granuloma complex can respond rapidly with the right combination of immune modulation and parasite control. The goal now will be to pull back further on medication.

Dr. Lancellotti fixed up Hermioneā€™s toe beans, swipe for the before! Hermione has a disease called plasma cell pododermatitis which, in her case, is associated with food allergies. Hermione returned today after a diet trial and some antibiotics and is feeling toe-tally better!
