This is Ace, this constipated guy was dropped off by Dad with a warning and his own muzzle! ๐น
If youโve worked with me before, you know I love the problem child. Angry? Senile? Possessed? Banned from every salon in a 50mi radius? Bring em on!!
Somebodies gotta groom 'em right??
My goal with these clients is to desensitize them to the process. Especially their first grooming with me!
As this was Ace and mines first time together I always like to take into consideration that:
1. He does not know me, or understand what I'm doing to him
2. I don't know him, or his past. Including how his last groomer handled him.
3. Hes just a silly little baby guy ๐คก goofy lil fella ๐ โค๏ธ love him muah ๐
Right away, we noticed Ace hated his front legs touched as well as his face.
But by the end of his groom he was *almost* tolerant ๐ฅน progress on our first time together! Yippee! So proud of him! (Even though he still didnt want kisses ๐ ๐ So valid.)
Happy to say no injuries occurred, including the scissors kicked off my table ๐ต
These little guys just need extra patience, a calm 1-on-1 environment, and tough momma lovin ๐คจโ๏ธโค๏ธ
By the 3rd grooming, these little demons are (mostly) exorcized and trust has been built ๐ถ๐ชฝ๐ ๐ซก
So...
Bring me your lil demons! ๐น I love em!!! They're just Silly guys!!! Lets get them to love, or at least tolerate, their spa day!!
