This post serves as a warning about some veterinarians and as a cautionary case for others. I brought my cat Toffee into Corona Animal Emergency Center at 6 am on 3/27/26 for an emergency c-section. When we arrived her kittens were still alive, the vet told me they had heart rates of 200 bpm. Surgery was not done on her until 5-6 hours later, I was then called by Dr. Falco and informed all the kittens had died but Toffee still needed a few hours to recover. When my husband went to get her late that afternoon, he was told they just discovered a kitten was still alive. The kitten was left for hours between other dead kittens, so by the time they put him in an incubator (and didn’t bother to tube feed him) it was too late. He died at my home an hour after we brought him back. Toffee’s incision was also leaking fluid in puddles, even though she was put in a small room with no furniture and forced to rest. Fluid was all over the towel in her carrier. I emailed them a photo and brought her back where they only added more staples and said it was “normal”. 5 days, 18 phone calls, and another email later I knew this was NOT NORMAL and brought her back. Her inner abdominal wall had been opened the whole time and a loop of intestines was going through it. I was then charged again to fix their mistake and they took her to the back. This was around 2:30 pm on 3/31/26. When I called at 4:42 am on 4/1, they still hadn’t done the surgery yet. Surgery was not done on her for almost 15 HOURS LATER. As of the writing of this post on 4-9-26, they have not responded to my emails and phone calls for reimbursement. Neither Dr. Beshai (director) nor Brianne King (manager) I paid a total of just over $4,500 for these two surgeries. Please spread this post far and wide so the same thing doesn’t happen to your beloved pet at 💔😭😡 Corona Animal Emergency Center, 541 N. Main st, ste 107, Corona, Ca. 92880, 951-482-5137
