I’ve been a little hesitant to share this because I wanted to make sure everything was *actually* happening before I announced it… but here it goes 🥹
After running our own warehouse and fulfilling every single Sunny Tails order ourselves for the past few years, we’re officially moving to a 3PL! 📦
The past couple of months have been a LOT behind the scenes — interviewing different partners, going through contracts, figuring out technical integrations, and planning how we hand over the storage + fulfillment of all our DTC and retail orders.
And honestly… I feel pretty relieved finally sharing this 😅Running our own warehouse gave us so much flexibility as we grew, but managing an ever-growing amount of inventory, hundreds of SKUs, and more and more orders has definitely come with its challenges. I’m excited to hand this part of the business over so we can focus more of our energy on growing Sunny Tails and making the best dog walking products.
But I’m also SO grateful for this little warehouse 🥹 It gave us the space to grow on our own terms, offer local pickup, and film SO much content here. Who remembers all my packing videos?! 😭 We’ve made so many memories in this space, and I’m really glad we documented this chapter along the way.
And before we officially pack everything up and move out… we have one more exciting announcement coming this Friday 👀
I know I probably sound like a broken record at this point, but truly, thank you to every single person who has supported Sunny Tails and rooted for us along the way. None of these new chapters would be possible without you, and I’m so grateful I get to keep bringing you along for the ride 🥹🐾
