Gamble is on the hunt for her person. She is a petite girl at 50lbs and 13 months old. She is higher energy, athletic and enjoys a variety of things. She would be a great candidate for dock diving, fast cat, nose work, bite work or a variety of other sports. She is very much a relationship type of dog and will work best for those she is bonded to. She needs more exposure and confidence in new environments alone and out of drive (in drive or with other dogs, she’s fine). But for that reason i would not consider her a candidate for a working venue at this time (SAR, detection contracts, PPD, etc). Gamble loves to play ball and swim, has been well started on luring, Is good with other dogs and cats, mostly neutral with farm animals (may try to chase chickens on occasion, but is able to be redirected).

She had a freak accident femur fracture at 9 weeks old. She was taken to a wonderful board certified surgeon for a gold standard repair. She is 100% sound with no residual issues and no growth plate involvement. Hip and elbow X-rays available.

In South Louisiana, but transport can be arranged.

Her first real muzzle fighting experience. She has seen one muzzle fighting picture prior to this, to gauge how she would perceive the picture. Overall, i was very excited with how she handled things. I have no doubt she will continue to get faster and stronger, but the commitment was there. Even the little Sparkly leg wrap made an appearance🤣 Now we just keep going UP.
Overwatch, with control. The fact that my 2 year old daughter can walk alongside this dog, holding on to her leash, right before she flips into civil agitation or muzzle fighting.. then grab ahold of the leash when it’s done and walk on out, without me ever worrying that she is in an unsafe position, is more important to me than i could ever put into words. Sparkles, you’re one of the few.. even with your annoying, pushy quirks.

Sparkles is officially in heat and will be bred on this cycle.

We went back and forth a lot on this decision. I wanted to spend the next few years training, trialing and titling her then breed her later. But after a lot of consideration and speaking with people who’s opinions i greatly value, we decided to breed her now. The reason for this decision was so that we can see how she produces and how her puppies develop, while we take the next year or two to train and trial. Then we can make adjustments for her next litter based on what we know from this first one. That being said, i will be opening applications for 1-2 SPORT HOME co-owns. Ideally a male and a female. Preference to IGP or Mondio.

This litter will not be for the first time pet home. We are prioritizing working or sport homes. If you are interested and have further questions, feel free to work out. We will be updating the website, applications and releasing more details over the next couple of weeks and will announce once she has been bred.

Did you know? Dogs must be 24 months or older for OFA Hip and Elbow certification, and 12 months or older for Cardiac, Patellas, and Thyroid certification. There is no age minimum for eye certification, nor for DNA, since DNA does not change as the dog ages.

The OFA also does Preliminary evaluations on hips and elbows before 24 months of age. However, they will need to be re-evaluated again for a final certification once the dog reaches 24 months.
