Looking for part-time Kennel Attendant(s) to start ASAP: Mon-Fri and Sat & Sun: 5pm to 8pm/finished, usually 2-3hrs, depending on how many dogs we have in boarding at any given time.
Duties:
1.) Taking each dog out for a nighttime walk/potty break before bed. 
2.) Making sure all dogs have clean, full, fresh water & clean, dry kennels.
4.) Additional cleaning duties as assigned/needed
5.) Inspecting every dog, every kennel, and the entire facility and grounds to assure that all dogs are well and relaxed, all kennels, gates and doors are safe, secure and locked & alarms are set prior to leaving. 
*You will be working alone at night after training. Our facility is equipped with security cameras all throughout the inside and outside of our premises. Management will monitor workers & dogs on security cameras. 
*This position can be split between two people. Ex - we may hire 1 person to do weekends and 1 person to do weekdays, etc. 
* Starting pay is $12/hr while in training and will be increased after you are trained well enough to work independently and again after a successful 90 day probationary period.
*This position does have the potential to grow into more hours and additional skills such as dog training. 
* We have frequent additional shifts that can be picked up to cover other staff members vacations, and sick time.
* All staff will be assigned various holidays and wknd shifts. Boarding does tend to pick up around those times. 
* You must have reliable transportation & a clean background check.
*You must possess the ability to lift at least 50 pounds as there could be times you have to lift a dog and will often be moving dog crates, doggie swimming pools, and large bags of dog food around. 
* You must be able to bend down and to climb inside of dog crates to clean them.
* You must be able to conduct yourself professionally & dress appropriately. You will be in contact with our clients and we do run a nonprofit rescue out of the same facility. Therefore, you will be in the public eye frequently.
