JR is just the sweetest gentleman. 🥹❤️ This quiet, gentle Griffon mix has such a kind way of playing with everyone and fitting right into the pack. He’s oddly NOT a water dog 😂 but by the end of his stay, he was even getting in for toys and play! JR enjoyed some extra walks, lots of fun with friends, and headed home fresh and clean. 🐾 We just love that sweet face and can’t wait to see him again! ❤️

Something new at Hot Diggity! 🐾

We’re excited now to have a Board & Train option available for dogs staying with us! Tyrese Lee with All Dogs Love recently relocated here from Portland and will be offering training right here on-site.

From basic obedience and leash manners to more specific behavioral concerns, training can be tailored to your dog and your goals. Each Board & Train starts with a consultation and includes continued support after your dog goes home.

Check out the flyers for all the details, packages and pricing! If you’re interested, you can reach out to Tyrese directly with training questions or message me about adding training to an upcoming stay. 🐶

TJ & Josie 🐾💛

These two were such a fun pair to have over the summer! Swimming was definitely their favorite — they’d even swim circles around me while I vacuumed the pool. 😂 And wherever Dexter went, they weren’t far behind.

When they weren’t swimming, they were total snuggle bugs. They have that sweet, calm way of just sitting beside you that makes it pretty impossible not to stop and give them some love. And Dexter made sure they got plenty of it. ❤️

Such sweet little pups! 🐾

Leonard & Opal 🖤🤍

These two Newfoundland siblings have stayed with us a few times now, and they pretty much come as a package deal. Where one goes, the other isn’t far behind. 😂

And boy do they love BIG… which seems fitting, because there isn’t much small about either of them!

They were a little unsure of me at first, but immediately warmed up to my kids—which made it pretty obvious these two absolutely adore children. It didn’t take long before my husband and I were part of their circle too. ❤️

Leonard & Opal aren’t group players here. They may like other dogs, but they’re happiest enjoying their own space and each other’s company—and that’s perfectly okay! They still get plenty of time outside to play, explore, splash around and soak up all the attention.

Opal might actually make the world’s best pillow. I’m pretty sure you could lay right across that giant fluffy girl and she wouldn’t move a muscle. 😂 Leonard is every bit as sweet, but he’s a little more “Okay, enough cuddling… let’s PLAY!”

Big dogs, big personalities, and even bigger hearts. We sure love having these two here. 🖤

It’s not always chase, wrestling and crazy play around here. 😂🐾
The dogs get plenty of time outside to just hang out too. Sniff around, lay in the grass, soak up some sun, or take a nap. We don’t want everyone hyped up all day—we want them to be able to settle in and relax too.
Sometimes that even means the extra playful dogs get their own yard so they can wrestle and run around, while the chill dogs can just… chill. 😂
A little play, a little sunshine, a little nap. Not a bad way to spend the day. ❤️🐶

Summer has been BUSY! 🐾☀️ So busy, in fact, that posting has taken a backseat to what I love most — loving on these dogs. ❤️ Here’s a little peek at some of the fun we’ve been having! 🐶💦

Every once in a while, we let our own dogs into the water park to cool down too.
We built an entire water park for dogs, and this is what our dogs do with it…
Follow Dexter and me to the shade and lay at our feet. 😂
Most people don’t realize that the dogs you see around here every day are actually ours. Meet the Hot Diggity Dog Boarding crew: Kevin, Quill, Ellie Mae, Ninja, and Guinevere.
Kevin and Quill are the only ones who truly appreciate all our hard work and investment in the water park. The rest seem convinced that the best attraction is wherever we happen to be sitting.
Not exactly the action shot we expected, but it’s a pretty perfect picture of our pack. ❤️

Slip N Slobber Waterpark is officially OPEN 💦🐾

We’ve got full send swimmers, splash pad maniacs, and creek explorers…
and then we’ve got the “I’ll just dip a toe and judge everyone” crew 😂

Even our non-water dogs are getting in on it—tip-toeing through the creek, testing the pool like it might bite them, then sprinting off to zoom, relax, and supervise from the shade 🌿

Opening day verdict:
10/10 splashes
12/10 zoomies
0 regrets 😎
