She came to us in need of some rehabilitation help due to suffering from weakness and pain. Sadly, she had a history of fearful behavior at previous clinics.

🤍 The gentle and calm nature of Dr. Camille Forstadt and technician Megan allowed them to gain Winnie’s trust creating an environment where they were able to complete 𝗮𝗰𝘂𝗽𝘂𝗻𝗰𝘁𝘂𝗿𝗲 𝘄𝗶𝘁𝗵𝗼𝘂𝘁 𝗮 𝗺𝘂𝘇𝘇𝗹𝗲 𝗼𝗻 𝘁𝗵𝗲 𝗳𝗶𝗿𝘀𝘁 𝘁𝗿𝘆🥰

🐾 Winnie is a wonderful example of the behaviors that Dr. Camille, Megan, and the rest of our rehab team are happy to care for knowing they can and will help our patients feel 𝘮𝘰𝘳𝘦 𝘢𝘵 𝘦𝘢𝘴𝘦 at their vet visits.

✨ We’re thrilled to report that she is 𝗱𝗼𝗶𝗻𝗴 𝗮𝗺𝗮𝘇𝗶𝗻𝗴 and learning to trust us more and more with each session and in turn making progress toward feeling better physically❤️

🐾 It’s Vet Tech Appreciation week and we’ve already been having so much fun this week as we celebrate our amazing technicians!🥳

We started the week with “Onesie Day” and boy did our team come up with a great variety of onesies! Tuesday we all got a little tacky for our Tacky Tuesday/Mix and Match day… if you came in to see us you probably thought we had all lost our minds🤪
🎉We’re looking forward to lots more fun this week and we’ll be sure to share it with all of you. Our team of RVTs and Veterinary Assistants are the life blood of our practice so we hope you’ll join us in thanking them for all they do to care for your pets with love and compassion each and everyday❤️

Have you taken advantage of our 20% Off Dental Cleanings for dogs and cats?
As always, this is a very popular program and spaces filled up quickly but we’ve decided to extend it through the end of October 🎉
Don’t miss out, contact us today to reserve your dog or cat’s appointment🤗

🤔 Did you know that there is something that can help extend the time between when dental cleanings are needed for your pet?

Sanos Veterinary Dental Sealant is a professionally applied, self-hardening liquid that creates a barrier to prevent plaque and tartar buildup along the gum line in dogs and cats! Think of it like liquid bandage. It seals the gum line against plaque attachment while allowing water and oxygen to pass through.

🎁 To help make routine dental care more affordable, during the month of October we are providing 20% off Dental Cleanings. If your pet is due for a dental cleaning, we hope you will be able to take advantage of this savings and also consider Sanos to extend the life of that cleaning.
Call or email us for more information and to book your pet’s appointment.

How about Dr. Petra and her patient named Petra - how adorable is this puppy and the look of joy on Dr Petra’s face?!
We love making your pet family members feel comfortable and safe when they come to see us, especially puppies and kittens who are having their first interactions with their veterinarian 🐶❤️🐈
If you have a new puppy or kitten we would love to meet them and provide you with discounts on all the services young pets need in their first months (Ask about our healthy puppy and kitten packages).

Unfortunately, there has been a rise in cases of rabies including cases in our region of California. With the most recently reported case was an indoor cat in Alameda County 😢
Keeping your dogs and cats vaccinated is important in general but rabies is especially important because it is zoonotic which means it can be spread from animals to humans.

❗️ Lack of fear of humans
❗️ Aggression / biting or attacking imaginary things
❗️ Lack of coordination or even paralysis
❗️ Heavy drooling or foaming at the mouth

❗️ Heavy drooling and difficulty swallowing or drinking
❗️ Sensitivity to light
❗️ Loss of coordination / staggering

📢 If you see signs of wildlife behaving unusually do not approach the animal and be sure to contact animal control. If your pet has had access to areas or ability to have contact where you see wildlife that may be infected please contact us right away. The sooner we can see your pet (even before any symptoms) the better chance for a good outcome.
