On Nov. 9th, 2025, professional roadie (Front-of-House Engineer, Tour Manager, and Tour Photographer), Ron Harrell, volunteered his time for our Sacramento to Seattle run with 49 dogs in the ! Along the way we had much to talk about with regard to being employed by bands and touring for a living. Another Sac to Seattle run! On 5-21-26 we left the North Bay area at 6:15 a.m. to pick up the rescue van in Sacramento at 8:00. Then we loaded critters until 11 a.m. and drove them 770 miles, ending our day at 1:15 a.m. Along the way we dropped off animals in; Yreka (SNIP of Siskiyou County); Grants Pass (South Coast Humane Society - the real one); Eugene and Salem (PAWSNetwork); Tualatin (Mario’s Paw); and Seattle (Happy Tails Happy Homes, Rescue Unleashed, and Because We Care Rescue).

Hey 4 Ever Yours supporters, did you know that indie-rock pioneers, Grandaddy are big-time dog lovers and rescue advocates?!? Well, guess what? They asked us to join them for their upcoming concert at Ace Of Spades in Sacramento to help promote our life saving work! How awesome is that! We're so excited to see their concert while doing community outreach! Thanks, Grandaddy band and crew!

Sac to Seattle on 5-6-26! My roadie friend, Rachel Demy (a Tour Manager for over a decade), joined me for an 18 hour adventure with 26 dogs. One of them, Buddy, got to stay overnight with me in the hotel. So many awesome dogs were saved from euthanasia in overcrowded shelters, thanks to Rebecca Martello's PAWSNetwork and SNIP of Siskiyou County, Pawsitively Saved Rescue, Pistol's Rescue Ranch, Jack Russell Rescue OWII, BAMM Rescue, Creature Keeper Farm and Sanctuary 501 C3, and Animal Angel Experience. Thank you to all of the other volunteers, fosters, and relay drivers. 🚐🐾🤘

On 4-22 at 6:15 a.m. we left the North Bay and drove to rainy Sacramento and loaded up 25 , then headed North to pick up 1 more in Williams. At the Pilot Flying J in W**d we transferred dogs to relay drivers for South Coast Humane Society - the real one before heading out to Bend, OR, where we dropped off dogs at ( Oregon Rescue & Rehab) From there we cut back over to Eugene for another drop off with Love A Pit Rescue, then up the I-5 with dogs getting out in Salem (Match Made in Heaven Animal Rescue, Figz Dog Rescue), Portland (Lancaster Four Dog Rescue, Mountain Dog Rescue), Lacey, WA (Blue Collar Dog Rescue), and Tacoma, WA ( Seattle), and arriving at a hotel in Olympia at 4:00 a.m. Our 9th volunteer rescue transport in the first 16 weeks of 2026! 💪 ☕

43 rescue dogs! 19.5 hours! On 4-2 we left the North Bay at 6:20 a.m. and drove to Sacramento to load up the dogs, then headed 700 miles North to Olympia, WA, completing our run at 1:50 a.m. The following day we met up with Skating Polly so I could mix their set at Mississippi Studios! What a great trip! Our 8th rescue transport in 12 weeks! 💪 ☕
