I’m sure everyone is tried of hearing how excited we are for this foal but this foal is 3 generations of selective breeding, blood, sweat, tears, and Lord knows how much money in the making so we can be excited. 🤷🏼‍♀️

TTR’s Labonheir(Jr) x CR’s White Jade(Jade)

Jade brings so much to our program with her sweet temperament, beautiful conformation, smooth square gait, an outstanding pedigree, and while I’m not a big color person(can’t beat a black horse in my book) she’s one of the prettiest horses to look at. BUT she would be special to us in any color because she checks all the boxes we look for and value in our program. She stands at a stocky 14.3h.

What I personally love most about Jade is her spirit and her mind. She’s got the ability and willingness to step up for a professional, yet the calm, sensible temperament to take care of a child. That’s a combination I absolutely.

Jr. is everything I dreamed of when his dam was pregnant with him.

We had sold his sire, TTR’s Dobbin’s Blue Satin, to the UK not long before Jr. was born. Satin was, hands down, one of the best-tempered stallions I’ve ever known in this breed, and I had hoped and prayed for a c**t to carry on those bloodlines.

Jr. certainly didn’t disappoint.

While he’s on the smaller side at 14–14.1h, he’s stocky, smooth gaited, and has a pedigree full of greatness. Most importantly, he inherited that outstanding temperament from his sire. He’s the kind of horse that takes everything thrown his way in stride like he’s seen and done it a thousand times before. He’s a horse that can go from the breeding shed to the show ring then to the trail and never miss a beat but his favorite job is toting kids around.

We believe these 2 horse complement each other extremely well. Both bring the temperament, gait, conformation, and bloodlines we strive to preserve in our breeding program. This foal is bred to go in any direction. We can’t wait to see what this cross produces.

On today’s episode of we can’t have nothing nice around here:

98% of the time the chaos is the horses. The other 2% is shared between the goats and our dear confused cow(steer) Lenard. I thought with how pretty it is today I’d open the windows and Lenard decided he hadn’t been able to participate in this chaos in far too long. 🤦🏼‍♀️🙄

Pride was bred and foaled by us in Kentucky in 2015 and is KBIF eligible. He’s not been passed around or traded. He was shown from weaning until around 5-6yrs old. He had professional training his 3yr old year, sat his 4yr old year, then my husband brought him back to the show ring as a 5yr old before he retired to breeding and trail riding. Our program shifted to all RMHA registered stock so he was gelded around 7. He’s not in any way stud-ish and pastures fine with mares and geldings.

Pride leads, loads, bathes, clips, stands for the vet/farrier, saddles, bridles, he’s easy to catch, ties, side passes, lopes(knows his leads), stalls, trailers, rides English or western, lunges. He will ride in groups or alone. He has been good for us both barefoot and shod.

He has been sitting for the last 3-4 years but we’re slowly bringing him back into work and getting him set in his gait. I’d like to see him go to someone who can put him back into consistent work. He really thrives and loves having a job. I think he’d be a really fun project for someone wanting a big and athletic gelding to show, trail ride, do competitive trails, or really anything in between. He has the mind and drive to do about anything you ask of him.

Due to him needing a refresher and his athleticism I don’t recommend him for a timid beginner/inexperienced rider. A confident rider wouldn’t have any issues with him.

UTD on everything, doesn’t have a current coggins since he’s just been a pasture ornament but easy to get. PPE welcome and highly encouraged. Can assist with shipping. Located at Three T Rockies in Loogootee, IN.

182 and 183 days pregnant for these maiden mares and they’re starting to be more baby bump than horse. 🤣

TTR’s Satin Silhouette is expecting her Classic Rio baby end of March/first of April.

CR’d White Jade is expecting her TTR’s Labonheir baby end of March/first of April.

Fun fact, TTR’s Satin Silhouette and TTR’s Labonheir are FULL siblings. They’re sired by the first love of my life TTR’s Dobbin’s Blue Satin, who now resides in the UK with his fabulous family, and they’re out of champion producing mare Kate(Nuncio x Smiths Ginger lines). These foals will be our 3rd generation.
