Talk about a full-circle moment! 🥹🐾

When one of the puppies you helped raise makes it into your senior pictures!

This is our daughter Mackenzie, Class of 2027, and one of the helping hands behind raising our Cedar Ridge puppies!

And that handsome boy next to her? That’s Tuddy, from our very first Winnie × Croc litter, the Minnesota Lakes crew! 🤎

We traveled to Hayward, WI for Mackenzie’s senior pictures and it just so happens that our photographer, Molly, is Tuddy’s mama! Of course, we couldn’t pass up the opportunity to get a few pictures of these two together. Molly even snuck in a few photos of Tuddy and me as well!

Pretty special getting to see one of our babies all grown up and sharing such a special milestone with us! 🐾❤️

✨ 9 WEEKS - GO HOME ✨

It’s hard to believe it’s already been one week since our little Celebrity Chefs started heading home to their forever families. 🥹🐾

Go home week is always so bittersweet. We spend eight weeks loving these babies, watching their little personalities develop, and pouring so much of ourselves into raising them…and then suddenly, it’s time to send them off.

But this is also the part that makes it all worth it! We carefully chose each of these families for our puppies and we truly couldn’t be more excited about where every single one of them landed. Seeing these happy faces together makes saying goodbye just a little bit easier.

✨ A little puppy picture FYI 🐾

☺️ We know so many of you look forward to the puppies’ weekly pictures. Whether you’re bringing one of these babies home or simply following along because puppies make you happy, we truly love how invested you are in them. It means so much to us because we are incredibly invested in them, too.

🤪 As the puppies get older, though, individual pictures become much harder. They don’t want to be held and posed. They want to be down playing, running, wrestling, exploring and learning. At this age, trying to photograph eight puppies individually is a lot like trying to wrangle eight toddlers for perfect pictures!

🙅🏻‍♀️ Could we make them sit still? Probably. But we aren’t going to force them to cooperate simply for the sake of getting the perfect weekly photo.
That’s just silly.

☝🏼 We respectfully want to remind everyone that we raise puppies, we are not professional photographers. Our priority will always be the puppies’ development, confidence and happiness. Sometimes that means putting the camera down and letting them play.

💡 Although we haven’t posted formal weekly pictures the past couple of weeks, we are still sharing plenty of candid content through our Facebook and Instagram stories. We show what the puppies are doing, what they’re learning and why each experience matters. ✨ Hey, good lookin’, whatcha got cookin’? Week 4 ✨

Let’s see what our little chefs have been whipping up this week!

👨🏽‍🍳 ON THE MENU: WEEK FOUR 🧑🏽‍🍳

🍽️ Multiple Courses & a Visit from the Head Chef!

Our little chefs loved their first real kibble meal so much that it is now being served multiple times a day! Mama Maggie still comes into the kitchen twice a day to open the milk bar…not because she has to, but because she wants to. She truly is the best mama! ❤️

🥄 Stirring Up Some Fun

The puppy play gym has officially been added to their kitchen and it has been a 5 ⭐️ hit! They are having the best time playing with it, wrestling, chasing, and playing with each other. We shared a few videos on our Facebook and Instagram stories, so be sure to take a peek!

Dan and the kids have also prepared their outdoor dining area. These little chefs will be taking their talents outside, weather permitting, everyday!

🧹 Keeping the Kitchen Clean

Our little chefs are using their litter box about 95% of the time! We still have a few tiny spills here and there when someone gets too busy playing to make it to the box, but overall, the cleanup crew is very impressed!
