Oh mylanta!!!

This little boy! What a stunner!!! He is the only one without someone to call his own! I can’t wait to see him grow up some more. He will be 3 weeks tomorrow His eyes will continuing opening and his fur will not even fully show out until around 6 weeks.

Yowsa, it’s going to be amazing!!!!!

Not sure and that changes all the time. 2 per dog. With litters we go from the shared round to individual ones while crate training.

I can tell you which ones NOT to get. I will share a link of my favorites.

Don’t buy them with a coating. It comes off and maybe that won’t hurt your dog if they ingest it, but what is it made of? And will it hurt them?

I love the rubber bottom for the lack of noise, but truth be told they all come off with the exception of our little Dollar Tree ones (weird) and if they come off can your dog swallow it? Um.. yes.

Ones that tip easily. If they don’t have the balance part that comes back down your dog that wants to let you know he wants dinner will flip them….loudly.

The others balance better. Just get them. Thank me later!

How often washed? About twice a week. Pup ones every day.

How long does it take? Today it took 1 hour. Yes I let them air dry, but then I wipe every inch with a dish towel just in case something is left on them.

How many bowls did I wash yesterday? This photo isn't all of them.

I also highly, highly recommend the gravity water bowls and my favorite of all is the one you can attach to the house, yes, in the brick. Get a splitter hose and turn one side on and attach it to the water bowl. It will fill constantly and you never have to do anything. Well….. clean it periodically! Dogs tend to drag dirt into the bowl. Metal is best unless it’s in the sun! Plastic can break and deteriorate, but if it’s in the sun it can be very hot to touch! I especially love these for dogs that like to play in the water …uhmmmm … GEORGIA…. Because I put it up higher and it’s not big enough to bathe in.🫣 I’ll have to link those separately. Here’s a very quick look at Early Neurological Stimulation (ENS) with our puppies.

From days 3–16, we do a few very brief, gentle exercises each day designed to support healthy development and help puppies become more resilient and adaptable.

It doesn’t take long, but we’re paying attention. I watch how each puppy responds and note changes along the way. If I see a puppy who needs a little extra support in an area, we can begin working with that puppy individually.

Our puppies are born right in our large shower, where I can keep a close eye on everyone. We add two cameras for different views, change bedding frequently, and keep everything easy to clean. For our smaller moms, we’ve actually found that a simple pool works better for us than our expensive whelping boxes!

At 16 days, ENS ends and we begin our more structured socialization program, with new experiences and skills introduced as the puppies grow.

ENS itself is simple and brief—but after 17 years of raising puppies, I’ve learned that watching the little things can tell you a lot. ❤️
