Labor Day Weekend is winding down, and we’re officially waving goodbye to summer and pretending to welcome fall! 👋🏼☀️🍁

Our pups are still soaking up the fun with plenty of playtime, cuddles, and all the usual daycare shenanigans. 😂🐶💕

We’re ready for cooler days, cozy fall vibes, and changing leaves… although this is Texas, so we’ll probably be wearing shorts and sweating through October. 😂🥵🍂

🐾 KENNEL COUGH UPDATE! 🐾

At this time, we have only had 4 mild cases of kennel cough confirmed. The good news is that we haven’t had any new confirmed cases! We just want to remain transparent with our HIL family about everything. 🎉🐶

We’re continuing to closely monitor all of our pups and are staying on top of our cleaning and sanitation protocols to help keep everyone as healthy and happy as possible. 🧼✨

What can YOU do to help? 🏡🐾
If your pup is showing any signs of illness, please keep them home and let us know! This helps prevent potential spread to other pups and gives your dog the chance to rest and recover.

Some symptoms to watch for include:
🐶 A persistent or dry cough
🐶 Gagging or retching after coughing
🐶 Sneezing
🐶 Runny nose or nasal discharge
🐶 Watery eyes
🐶 Lethargy or acting less energetic than normal
🐶 Decreased appetite
🐶 Fever or seeming generally unwell

Just a reminder: not every cough is kennel cough, and symptoms can vary from dog to dog. If you notice something unusual with your pup, we recommend checking in with your veterinarian.

WE MADE IT TO THE WEEKEND!!! 🎉🇺🇸 And apparently, the pups got the memo because they showed up READY TO PARTY! 😂🐶

Labor Day Weekend is officially underway at Hounds Inn Lounge, and these pups are already acting like they have absolutely NO plans to slow down! 🤪💨

We’ve got zoomies happening 💨

The week may be coming to a close, but someone forgot to tell the pups that it’s time to slow down! 😂 These pups still have SO much energy, and they’re zooming their way straight into the weekend! 🐶💨

The pups say the weekend isn’t ready for them… 🫣

I’m not exactly sure what that means… but if I had to guess, they’re warming up for a weekend FULL of fun, friends, zoomies, and plenty of tail wags! 🐾❤️

We had SO much fun doing the “Guess the Voice” challenge with our boss! 😂🐶🎤 Of course, we had to put Jamie to the test and see just how well she knows her team! 👀😂

Jamie did such a great job, and this was definitely one of those moments that reminds us how much we LOVE our team! 💕 We’re so lucky to have a group of people who can work hard, love on all of our daycare pups, and still have fun together! 🐾🥰
