🐾 NOW HIRING: FULL-TIME KENNEL TECHNICIAN 🐾
Animal Health & Hospital is looking for a dependable, hardworking individual to join our team as a Full-Time Kennel Technician.
Let’s be honest, this isn’t a glamorous job. You’ll be cleaning kennels, bathing dogs, walking dogs in all kinds of weather, doing laundry, administering medications, and helping care for our boarding guests. Some weekends and holidays are required because pets need care every day of the year.
What this job IS, however, is incredibly important.
Our kennel team plays a huge role in ensuring every pet in our care is safe, clean, comfortable, and loved while their families are away. We are looking for someone who genuinely enjoys working with animals, has a strong work ethic, pays attention to details, and isn’t afraid to roll up their sleeves and get the job done.
Responsibilities include:
• Caring for boarded dogs and cats
• Feeding, walking, and monitoring pets
• Administering medications as directed
• Bathing dogs
• Cleaning and disinfecting kennels and boarding areas
• Laundry and general facility upkeep
• Communicating concerns about pets to the veterinary team
The ideal candidate:
• Is reliable and punctual
• Works well independently and as part of a team
• Is comfortable handling dogs and cats of all sizes (we also see exotics!)
• Has a positive attitude and strong attention to detail
• Understands that animal care is both rewarding and hard work
