Dr. Pritchett is a 2015 LSU graduate from Louisiana. She and her husband Brian, a local civil engineer, moved here in 2015 and they bought the practice from Dr. Glaze in 2018. Together they have 3 children, 3 dogs, 2 cats, and a farm full of various creatures. at Animal Health and Hospital, we are here to help your pets stay healthy, giving each of them individualized care to maintain their well-b

eing. When we opened our doors over 40 years ago as Glaze veterinary, our mission was simple: to give every animal the chance to have a happy and healthy life by providing the best veterinary care possible. This mission is alive and well today. Everyone on our staff has a strong passion for helping animals and is deeply committed to providing high-quality service and care. Big congratulations to our very own Associate Dr. Katelyn Bordelon, on becoming a Certified Veterinary Medical Acupuncturist! 🎉

Dr. Bordelon is always looking for new ways to better serve our patients and provide additional options for comfort, healing, and quality of life. Veterinary acupuncture can be used alongside traditional medicine to help with pain management, mobility issues, neurologic conditions, arthritis, and so much more.

We are incredibly proud of her dedication to continuing education and bringing even more advanced care options to Animal Health & Hospital.

Today is a big one for us.

After 7 years, today is Zack’s last day at the front desk… and if you’ve called, walked in, panicked, cried, laughed, or asked a million questions… chances are Zack was the first face you saw.

Zack has been the voice on the phone when things felt scary and the steady presence holding the front together on our wildest days.

He has also bravely survived being the only guy in an office full of strong East Texas women for seven years. That alone deserves an award. 😂

Unofficially, he’s also been our in-house IT department.
Printer jam? Zack.
Computer glitch? Zack.
WiFi acting possessed? Zack.
Something “just not working”? Also Zack.

He’s moving on to an opportunity that gets him closer to his long-term career goals, and while we are incredibly proud of him… we are also not emotionally prepared.

Zack, thank you for seven years of loyalty, patience, problem-solving, and tolerating us. You have left your mark here in more ways than you probably realize.

We will miss you deeply, but we can’t wait to watch you win.

Animal Health & Hospital will be CLOSED tomorrow thanks to winter weather and East Texas roads doing East Texas road things. Staying home felt like the smarter choice.

We plan to open as normal on Tuesday at 7:30am but will update here with any changes!

Today we had the pleasure of working up several species of frog. These guys have some gravity dependent edema. We have to take some samples to figure this case out but the x-rays sure were fun.
