I've been very sick the last several days with a diverticulitis flare up that has been extremely painful. The animals didn't let me go through it alone. I should have bought the king size bed..😂

What an exciting day!! We took Olivia, Araya & Scooter to visit a school in Maize & meet the kindergarten & 1st graders. Olivia stood on the console almost the whole way there. She also painted for the kids. Everyone got to pet Princess Araya but they all wanted their picture taken with Scooter the 2 legged pig. 😉🥰

We are loaded & ready to head off to school to paint for the kids. Olivia, Araya & Scooter are the lucky pigs today.

Story time!:
Lucy came to us 6 months ago. Lucy has had a hard time adjusting to losing her family & came overweight on top of it all so her sight & mobility were limited & she was mad about the whole situation. I put her in with a very timid group but she wasn't having it. She found a pen next to the barn & moved in to enjoy her solitude. It's been like that all summer. Gate wide open but she refuses to come out & all the other pigs leave her be. Well ...a few weeks ago I moved this super sweet boy named Hamilton into the pasture of timid pigs. Hamilton has been with us a few years, loves everyone but often sleeps in the pasture alone & doesn't fight for food. I wanted him to make friends & be in the barn for winter. He had other ideas. Almost immediately he went around the barn & into Ms. Lucy's pen. I was afraid of what might happen but there was no commotion. Everyday I found him in there & eventually he won her over. Yesterday I went out & he was IN her house with her!! 😍(good thing she lost all that weight 😂) I would still like both of them to come into the barn this winter but this makes my heart very happy!!!🥳
