✨ Employee Spotlight: Talyn, RVT ✨

Today we’re excited to spotlight Talyn, one of our wonderful Registered Veterinary Technicians 🐾💙

After spending two years in corporate veterinary medicine, Talyn joined Family Pet Hospital in search of a more personal, relationship-focused environment where she could provide individualized care to pets and their families.

A graduate of Colorado State University with a degree in Zoology, Talyn’s love for animals started long before her veterinary career. Growing up, she spent her summers volunteering at animal shelters, pet sitting, and making memories with her beloved childhood dog, Benny.

At home, Talyn shares life with her boyfriend, Zoey — her one-eyed Labrador Retriever — and Parmesan, her rescue kitty. Outside of the clinic, she enjoys gardening, reading, and hiking around beautiful Colorado 🌿

We’re so grateful for the compassion, kindness, and dedication Talyn brings to our patients every day 💙

Kenia is a lovable Schnauzer/Terrier mix with one very important backyard responsibility—keeping tabs on the neighborhood squirrels 😄🐶

According to her family, she knows every squirrel by name, and their favorite game is a lively round of chase… complete with squirrels that seem to enjoy teasing her just as much! ✨

Her family shared that one of their favorite things about coming to Family Pet Hospital is knowing they’re helping keep Kenia healthy through routine and preventive care, which we absolutely love to hear.
