A stressed dog isn't refusing care. The body has decided the room isn't safe yet.
Dr. Casara Andre, DVM evaluates an animal's stress before anything else, because that state tells her whether the dog can actually receive appropriate, adequate, and timely care. When the nervous system is in fight or flight, even necessary treatment becomes a struggle.

Tired of buying pet supplements based on hopes and reviews? We were too. So we collected real-world data instead.

So in 2022 we ran a 26-day pathfinder study with about 70 pet households, conducted during July fireworks season and guided by the Veterinary Cannabis Society. Participants logged their pets' stress responses through the Releaf App, day by day, in their own homes.

The results: mean stress scores improved from 9.53 to 6.02, a 37% change. By Day 25, 92% of pet parents reported their dog coped better with stress. And 95% of owners found the lower dosage recommendations were enough. 🔬
