At Long Valley Animal Hospital, we cater to our patients’ needs, including but not limited to a cozy exam on Dr. Stanton’s lap! Miley came in for her annual checkup and couldn’t resist wagging her tail and giving us her best belly-up poses. She loves visiting the treatment area so she can meet even more friends!
And the best part? Miley was so busy enjoying belly rubs from our amazing techs that she didn’t even notice she got her vaccines! 💉💜
We’d say Miley has officially mastered the art of making vet visits fun! 🐶

Hi, it’s Marley! 🐾❤️

I may be a dramatic husky, but the pain I felt in my hips and knees were no joke! Today I had them treated with laser therapy. It helps decrease inflammation and promote healing, which means happier joints and a little more pep in my step! I also get my monthly Librela injection, bi-weekly Adequan injections, and take joint supplements to help keep me comfortable. I’m so lucky to have a dad who is able to bring me in for these treatments! Getting older doesn’t mean we have to stop doing the things we love! If your pup is slowing down, having a harder time getting up, or just doesn’t seem quite as spry as they used to be, talk to your vet! There are lots of ways to help manage arthritis and keep those golden years feeling pretty great. ❤️

Now, if you’ll excuse me, all this arthritis management is exhausting. Time for a nap. 😴🐾

We have a very special pair of expecting mamas at LVAH!

👶 Our veterinary technician Alyssa is 20 weeks pregnant
🐾 And sweet Scarlet is 30 days pregnant.. That puts BOTH of them right around the halfway point!

Alyssa is expecting one baby while our furry friend has a few more on the way, but we think they make a pretty adorable pair of bump buddies.

Human baby + Puppy babies = a whole lot of cuteness coming our way soon!

💜 One year later, Lauren's light continues to shine.

It's hard to believe that nearly a year has passed since we lost our friend, colleague, and veterinarian, Dr. Lauren Semanchik.

Lauren had an extraordinary gift for making everyone around her feel seen, cared for, and loved, whether they walked on two legs or four. Her compassion, kindness, infectious smile, and genuine love for people and animals continue to inspire us every day.

On Friday, July 31, we'd love for those who knew and loved Lauren to join us for a casual Happy Hour at Chilton Mill Brewing.

This is not a formal memorial service. There are no planned speeches, presentations, music, or scheduled activities. It's simply an opportunity for friends, colleagues, clients, and our community to come together, share memories, reconnect, raise a glass in Lauren's honor, and celebrate the lasting impact she made on all of us.

We're especially grateful to our friends at Chilton Mill Brewing, whose owner is a longtime friend of the Semanchik family. A portion of the evening's proceeds will benefit the Loved by Lauren Foundation, the family's 501(c)(3) nonprofit dedicated to carrying Lauren's kindness, compassion, and legacy forward.

Whether you stop by for one drink or stay the evening, we'd love to see you.

No, we're not talking about our staff... We're talking about today's four-legged office visitors! 🐾

Everyone knows Bash, Dr. Stanton's loyal office companion. Today she welcomed Dr. Walker's pups, Scarlett and Kappy, for a little playdate! The only member of the girl gang missing was Mischa, but don't worry, she'll be in to keep everyone in line another day.

Safe to say our team meetings just got a whole lot cuter. 🦴🐾😄
