🎓 Graduation Day for Will & Gus! 🎓
These two mini poodle brothers may look almost identical, but their personalities are so different. Both are energetic, happy, and full of personality, and they absolutely crushed their training journey. 💙
Their basic obedience is excellent, and we are so proud of how far they’ve come!
A huge congratulations to their owner as well. Your commitment, consistency, and dedication made such a difference. It’s always a pleasure working with owners who truly put in the effort. 👏

Claire has been with us since the very beginning, back when we first opened in 2021. She started as a Pack Leader, worked her way up to Supervisor, and is now continuing her journey toward becoming a Groomer.

# # # Jett Deserves His Forever Home ❤️

Some dogs come into your life and leave a mark on everyone they meet. Jett is one of those dogs.

Jett came all the way from Maui to Illinois after being adopted, ready to start his new life. Unfortunately, things didn’t work out with his adoptive family, and through absolutely no fault of his own, he is looking for a forever home once again.

At about 2½ years old, Jett is: social, active, loving, and incredibly easy to love. He enjoys people, loves playing with other dogs, and has done wonderfully with canine friends in a home, at daycare, and while boarding.

Our team at **Digs Dog Care Long Grove** has gotten to know Jett, and we can tell you firsthand—**this boy is special.** He is happy, playful, affectionate, and always ready to be part of the action. And yes… he really is as handsome as he looks in every photo. ❤️

His current foster family has given him a safe place to land, but that chapter is coming to an end. **Jett will be coming to Digs Dog Care while we help search for the family he deserves.**

We don't want Jett bouncing from home to home. He has already been through so much. He deserves stability, love, and a family who is ready to make him part of their lives **for good.**

Not forced hellos or constant play. Just time around dogs they know, trust, and feel safe with.
There are things another dog can give them that we simply can’t.
And sometimes, the most valuable thing they can do together is absolutely nothing. 🐾

Training Neutrality
One of the most common struggles we hear from dog owners: “I can’t even vacuum without my dog barking, chasing, playing with, or reacting to the vacuum.”
This is where we work on neutrality around everyday tasks.
The goal isn’t to make the vacuum disappear. It’s teaching dogs that normal things happening around them don’t always require a reaction.
Look at 5-month-old Canelo and Miss Mabel. The vacuum is on, and they’re completely neutral. No barking. No chasing. No excitement. No reaction.
Just two dogs calmly existing while something happens around them.
That’s neutrality. And yes, we can help you build it.
