We’ve loved seeing all the beautiful photos and reading the heartfelt stories shared in memory of our past patients and the beloved fur babies of our own VCA Los Altos team. Each one is a reminder of just how much love these special souls leave behind. ❤️

Our ofrenda is taking shape, but there’s still time to add your beloved pet! If you’d like to honor a pet who has crossed the Rainbow Bridge, send us their photo and name at [email protected], or bring a copy to the hospital in person.

October 27th is recognized as Dia de los Mu***os for pets, a special day to remember and honor the beloved animals who have crossed the Rainbow Bridge. It is a day to celebrate the love and memories they left behind and remind us that those we love are never truly forgotten. ❤️

Last year, we received so many beautiful photos of beloved pets in the days leading up to Dia de los Mu***os that we wanted to give everyone a little more time this year to find that special photo and share their pet’s story with us.

We will once again be creating an ofrenda, or altar, in memory of the beloved pets who have crossed the Rainbow Bridge, and we would love to include your pet.

If you would like to honor your pet, please send us a photo along with their name. You can email it to [email protected], and we will print it and add it to our altar.

Prefer the old-fashioned way? We understand! You are also welcome to bring a photo to the hospital in person. We just ask that you bring a copy or duplicate rather than an irreplaceable original, just in case it gets damaged.

There is still plenty of time to find that favorite picture, remember a special story, and honor the pet who will always hold a place in your heart. 🐾❤️
