Sometimes standard imaging doesn't provide all the information a surgical team needs. CT produces detailed, cross-sectional images that allow veterinarians to evaluate internal structures with greater detail.
CT may be used to assess tumors and masses, nasal and sinus conditions, neurological disorders, orthopedic problems, lung disease, and abdominal abnormalities.
For surgical patients, this information can help the team better understand the condition and plan an appropriate surgical approach.
