As the heat wave continues, into an Extreme Heat Watch starting tomorrow, we remind you that if it is too hot for you to be outdoors, it is definitely too hot for your pets to be outdoors. Please bring them indoors and provide plenty of water for them to drink.

Due to the recent New World screwworm outbreak, travel requirements for dogs have changed and may continue to evolve. Before making travel plans, please check the USDA APHIS website for the most up-to-date information regarding pet travel between the U.S. and Mexico. Currently pet dogs are NOT allowed to enter Mexico.
