Tiffany learned many valuable skills during her Army career, like teamwork, resilience, and discipline. 🇺🇸

But nothing prepared her for the PTSD that gripped her after she separated from service.

In time she realized that she needed something in her life to give her daily purpose. 🙏🏻

So Tiffany decided to adopt an always-there companion.

A stray dog wandering the streets of Tacoma, Washington for weeks seemed an unlikely choice.

No one knew where he came from or had experienced in his still short life. But thanks to a Good Samaritan, he was rescued by The Humane Society for Tacoma & Pierce County where he waited for his hero. 🐾

When Tiffany met Kojak she knew she found 'the one.'

This would be the dog to get her outdoors every day, to help break the cycle of depression and anxiety all too common with PTSD.

The dog who would have a transformative impact on her wellbeing.

“On the difficult days, his companionship reminds me that I’m never truly alone. He has brought laughter, comfort, and a sense of peace back into my home.” 💙 ☮

193 days. 10-1/2 years old. Browny's prospects were grim until a hero walked into EASEL Animal Rescue League and did what heroes do.

After 193 days, our sweet senior boy Browny has FINALLY found his forever home! ❤️🐾

At 10.5 years old, Browny has been patiently waiting for his happily ever after, and we couldn’t be more excited to share that his wait is officially over!

After meeting at an adoption event, it was love at first sight! Browny now has a wonderful family to spend his golden years with, surrounded by all the love and happiness he deserves.

We would like to extend a special thank you to our partners at Pets for Patriots petsforpatriots for connecting Browny’s new parents with us and helping them find the senior dog they had been searching for!

We wish you so much happiness, Browny, and we can’t wait to see updates on your new adventures!
